This is very true, my nephews grew up on these two games and whenever I introduce them a AAA game whether old or new, it's like seeing an alien try to make sense of it and then quickly lose interest in it.

Gaming trends are so weird to me now. Like, I’m old school and games were consumed essentially how movies were. You play through a title and look forward to the sequel or other things that came out. Now, that is so not the norm.

bu...bu..bu..but Kinect is awesome. "Jump In" because "You Are The Controller" - Microsoft.
Obviously the people who pushed Kinect on this have never played Minecraft and actually mined. I can't imagine doing the actions for mining the way I do. Imagine digging down for Diamonds (which are the lowest areas) and having to manually dig each block. It's just stupid. I could see the fighting parts and even some of the wandering around. But the mining would be brutal and get old within a few minutes.
That said, if it's a good version, I might get this now that I don't need Kinect. A mouse and keyboard probably still is the more accurate way of doing things (mouse is so fast), but hopefully this will be a good port and they keep updating the way the PC version is constantly updated.
