Agent 47 Spotted at E3 - New Hitman Absolution Details

Every Year E3 brings the biggest and best games to come in the next 12 months and there has been so many great announcements over the past few days but few are as exciting and eagerly awaited as Hitman Absolution. It’s been 5 years since the release of Hitman Blood Money, the last game in the franchise, and since its release until recent months Io interactive and Eidos have been silent. Then the cryptic clues began with simple messages, even rubber ducks with barcodes on the back of their heads, until Absolution was officially announced on May 10th.

I'm getting a little worried now. I hope they aren't changing some of the basics.

"human shield option being required to pass a brightly lit room" This is and should be a stealth game, one of the ways to play should be completely invisible. Costumes, sneaking, and hiding should always be an option, not exposed hostage taking. Hell I'll do it for fun on later playthroughs, but don't force it.

And while it's not confirmed either way, they better have kept the Fiber Wire. I'd say its as trademark as his silverballers. And some of the greatest points of previous games were slipping past metal detectors with just your wire and trying to complete the level from scratch, going the minimalist approach.

Still, wish it were coming out this year, I can't wait.

On the outside it looked like a simple thing: Hitman 3 would now be known by this name and include levels from Hitman 2 and 3 - the trilogy would all be in one place. But on the inside, at IO Interactive, much more was going on.

You mean destroyed it with this tethered single-player campaign BS... And only the first few levels of the third modern game were on the disc! I'll never support this crap at any price-point! They've lost me as a customer.

Hitman is, and has been, a remarkable series developed by some of the best. Some are better than others, but every Hitman is challenging and fun.

Sure, there have been some stumbles and fumbles, but always in pursuit of the perfect Hitman game. The most recent trilogy is a masterclass in level design.
