Hard to say, all conferences were not that exciting, but I have to say Sony because of the great price point for Vita and Sly Cooper 4.

Microsofts wasn't aimed at people who visit these sites, Sony's wasn't that spectacular to be honest and Nintendo's Cafe wasn't what I hoped for. On the plus side Multiplatform games have been the highlight of the event so far.

MS cared little to nothing about games other than Kinect though the Disneyland title will likely sell. I laughed my @$$ off at WiiU, but now thinking about it has me as confused as it has me not wanting it where I'll likely grab a PSV ASAP. But from what I already knew, not from Sony's presentation.

I have to say that Sony won this E3 with Uncharted 3, Resistance 3, PS Vita, Uncharted Vita, Starhawk, Infamous 2 etc.

However, whilst I found MS' conference to be full of 4Chan material and shoving Kinect shovelware down our throats. Halo 4, Halo Anniversary, ME3, Tomb Raider and Gears 3 were Microsoft's saving graces.

This year's E3 on whole was a let down. I'm still waiting for an E3 to top 2005's.

Nintendo's I didn't like, I found the Wii U really dissapointing and there just wasn't enough clarification regarding the console.

I'm going to give it to Sony this year. The PSV coming in with that sweet price of $250 was a very pleasant surprise indeed, and the cross game chat for it is simply too sweet to ignore. Throw in Twisted Metal, UC3, Starhawk, and so forth, and the winner is clear imo.

Sony by default, incredibly weak year.

Tie for Sony and Nintendo this year.

Basically, only exciting thing at MS's was Halo CE Anniversary.

Nintendo and Sony tied for the console makers, but EA won the overall event. They had the best presentation. Nintendo and Sony just introduced new things, some could say
Sony won because of the Vita, but they are just fanboys. The games list Nintendo announced for the 3DS was pretty slick though.

Overall EA win's with the best presentation! Sony and Nintendo did okay. Microsoft sucked again. Gamers will all around.

PC Gamers won E3 because the shift back to gamer pc's will only increase after this years e3.

Sony and Microsoft tied second because of Nintendo's poor showing. Neither company is going to feel compelled to upgrade their console for a long long time. I don't expect to see a new console from either company until 2013-2014.

Casual gamers came in third, because most/all the new ip's were for them.

Console snobs came in last place, because there is nothing new on the horizon.

It was pretty close for me between Microsoft and Sony, but I think Microsoft just edged Sony out.

Microsoft had the largest lineup of core games (ME3, MW3, Gears 3, Halo 4, Forza 4, Ryse, GR: Future Soldier, Fable, Halo: CE Remake, Tomb Raider, etc.), they showed some very interesting new features for Xbox LIVE (YouTube, Bing, Live TV), and they gave core gamers more reason to buy Kinect (hardcore games, integration into ME3, GR:FS, EA Sports, all future Tom Clancy games). The only disappointing part was the heavy focus on family friendly Kinect games for the last third of the show. I understand that these games are not for me, though. Some people will love them.

Sony showed off their fair share of core games as well (Uncharted 3, Resistance 3, BioShock: Infinite, Sly 4, Starhawk, Dust, inFAMOUS 2, etc.), but they just didn't have as many big games as Microsoft. They quickly changed focus to Move, and then before you knew it, they completely stopped talking about the PS3. The entire second half of the show was Vita. I am not interested at all in handhelds, but I can understand other may have really enjoyed the unveiling of Vita. They also did not have any big announcements to match Microsoft with Halo 4. I did like the Vita price point and the PlayStation brand TV as well.

Now I still don't know what to think about Nintendo and the Wii U. I'm still soaking it all in after watching the conference, but I am a little disappointed considering all the hype around Nintendo's next big console. The reveal of the Wii U was sort of underwhelming and not at all what I expected...

The winner will be determined this holiday season.

There's stuff I wanted both to announce like Pikmin 3 or maybe from Sony, some Agent or FF Versus XIII footage but overall I was satisfied.

1. Sony- Lots of game exclusives, game announcements , prices, bundles etc. etc.

2. Microsoft- Many demonstrations that are also Ps3 games, then moved to their own exclusives which were garbage except Gears3

3. Nintendo - Sorry but announcing something with no release date, no demonstrations, no specs, no info at all except an UNATTRACTIVE looking tablet. Look at the Vita then look at the tablet. One looks slick and sexy, the other looks dull, bulky, and plasticy. 3DS was nice but Vita looked superior .

I'd give it Sony but it was underwhelming all around; Sony didnt announce any of the exclusives that we were expecting; Nintendo's console is just weird and dont even get me started with MS.

But I think we should reserve judgement until Gamescom and TGS are over; it's unfair to expect them to pull out all announcements at E3 and save nothing for Europe and Japan.

E3 was a let down this year to be honest, I was expecting surprise announcements.

The thing i liked is from now on its a 3 way battle.Nintendo finally got 3rd party devs on board and i think its gonna be a fierce battle for exclusives.Plus nintendo is going to make games for hardcore fans after a long time.

Watching the MS spotlight press conference on G4TV.. didn't know they were having a second conference.

Sony and MS were pretty awful, cause let's face it .... We were all expecting megatons.

Nintendo, although it wasn't that great was CLEARLY the winner because of the WiiU.
That's real innovation there fellas, and there is tons of potential there.
Example .... Playing COD and controlling the airstrike or remote tanks with the controller .... Or playing Resident Evil and checking your inventory and maps using the controller .... Etc., etc.,

With no 'megaton' announcements at either press conference, no company won. All 3 had their high points and low points. In the end, the 'victor' is whatever company provided you with what you wanted to see most.

Sony had very good content amazing NGP price and a few new announcements but had no amazing surprises and their conference was so so boring.
Nintendo pretty disappointing, the Wii U had a bad name no offical demos and the whole concept was not addressed well. They only announced two new games.

No one wins here but thank god the mulitplats this year are going to be phenomenal. If it wasnt for such a good lineup of mulitplatform I would say this e3 was one of the worst.

I would have to give it to Sony honestly. They showed an excellent line up of games and PSV price point and games were amazing. Nintendo seems to be heading in the right direction but man that controller is going to be expensive. Microsoft, well yeah. Kinect focus was sad. Where are the games for your core audience?

Just as an aside here, everyone complaining about there being nothing really noteworthy at this E3 ... you know why right? It's because of sites like n4g and joystiq and such that get all this leaked information out so early.

If people hadn't seen any of the ngp stuff until they announced it, if there was no mention of the Wii 2 until Nintendo talked about it, etc. then you would all have had your "epic" moments.

E3 was basically a letdown all around. Sony didn't show enough stuff, Microsoft obviously went too Kinect happy and Nintendo confused us and announced their usual overmilked series while showing 360 footage instead of actual Wii U footage (I really hate that name). The only saving graces was Sly 4 and the fact that VITA will not only be affordable but has tons of games. No one tried and everyone all most seemed bored and unenthusiastic. I deem this the worst E3 ever, D-. So bored not even looking forward to the remaining few days. @ etowntwo Hurray Microsoft makes tons of money sacrificing it's hardcore fanbase to do so. I am sure they will be happy to hear that.

Pretty boring overall but Sony won it. Nintendo made a new console release boring, for the first time ever. Vita stole the show and Microsoft was a sham. Oh and the 3d tv for 499 is awesome. I will be getting that.

In my opinion, Sony won. Now I'm not going to name out all the things from the posts I read but what I din't notice was the "no more splitscreen thingy" for the 3DTV. Seriously, this is mind blowing! Imagine, soon I'll be playing killzone in 3d and my friend beside me watching a football game. (Not that it's confirmed but I guessing it'll come soon). Even playing co-op/versus without splitscreen is unreal... Maybe someone mentioned this b4 but do you agree??

They spend 30 minutes talking about the controller and show us a fairly weak lineup of games for a console they failed to even show us during the press conference.

I'd say this year was a tie between Nintendo and Sony with a slight lean more towards Sony because even though we already knew about the NGP and most of us had heared about the name Vita, there was still some nice discoveries about it with regards to games.
Nintendo's console on the other hand is a major home console release, and the way they revealed it just felt like they were not sure if the hardware was going to be or look the same at release time, because they only showed the controller in depth, nothing at all except for a few glimpses of the actual console.

That's like Microsoft and Sony saying "here are our new controllers for the Nextbox and PS4!, aren't they pretty!, let's roll some demos of the games too!"
Then ending the conference without so much as a whiff of the actual console.

Anyone who honestly thinks Microsoft had the strongest conference is either trolling or still thinks santa is real.

All three were pretty equal, which is rare. There's usually one that's clearly stronger or one that's clearly weaker. This is how I see it.
2008: Sony clearly stronger, Nintendo clearly weaker
2009: Microsoft strongest, Sony and Nintendo close though
2010: Nintendo clearly stronger, Microsoft clearly weaker
2011: I don't really know... I'd say Vita beat 3DS, but Nintendo had a brand new console on display. Kinect definitely beat Move, but Kinect also ruined the MS conference for hardcore guys. PS3 vs 360? ...hmm maybe PS3, given that there was no real time footage from Halo 4 and it's not developed by Bungie (which isn't neccessarily bad, it just means that it's more of a wild card)

Does any one know what the winner of E3 gets, last I heard the winner walks away with a whopping $2000.

Best demo this year was Far Cry 3. The game looks great and a lot of fun to play. It looks like they're returning to what made the first game so good.

I think Nintendo could have done a better job at unveiling the U but Sony could have ended their conference better. Where was the Last Guardian? Where was Agent? Where was Twisted Metal? MS's conference was easily the worst of the three and their worst yet by far but at least they ended with an announcement of a game. Sony didn't. They could've given a Last Guardian release date at the end or an Agent trailer or even an announcement of God of War 4. They talked about the Vita and then just ended it on a flat note.

Overall, E3 was poor. Simply because we knew nearly everything before the event. There were no big surprises but a lot of wasted time and opportunities. Though the game I care about the most is yet to be announced. That being GTA V. Also, Skyrim looks awesome and they only showed it on 360. I'll be getting it for my high-end PC so roll on November. Though if we knew nothing about the NGP, Halo 4 or Nintendo's next console before the show, it would have been a lot more enjoyable and satisfying. The best thing to come out of E3 is that Nintendo are returning to deliver games for the hardcore. It will be interesting to see how their new console sells next year but I doubt it will have the same appeal as the Wii.

Sony focused on move support and 3D gaming both of which i could care less about. The psp vita was nice and priced nicely but my cell phone has replaced portable gaming devices (evo3D). The best part of sony's conference was the 3D tv bundle. Microsoft was microsoft,played it nice and safe,new halo's will always be welcomed and kinect intergeneration is cool,you know cause kinect actually sold,sony is treating the move like it was success,it wasn't. Nintendo has definitely generated the most buzz but they also had nothing to offer this year so overall it was a lazy e3 but i was happy with MS and nintendo's showing.

I wouldn't say that anyone won. The question is who lost it cause all 3 press conferences were pretty weak. Microsoft was horrible. Nintendo was a little better. I had really high expectations to the new console but for now it disappointed me. We'll have to wait for more details. Sonys Press Conference was ok but nothing special. The only announcement relevant for me was Sly 4. Dust looks pretty avarage. And the rest was already announced to ps3.

This year's E3 was just very UNBALANCED. All the console makers have different goals already set and catered to them.

NINTENDO, the only one with news of a Brand new console(All by themselves) which is not fare to comparisons to the others.

Ms concentrated on kinect and Sony's Vita but really nothing you didn't already know about from them.

Seems to me, all 3 console makers are at different stages at this point in the life of their current console. They did not all come together to showcase new HARDWARE. It's not the end but we are beginning to see the end of this console gen and that's the kind of E3 this was.

The best E3's are huge Announcements and Secret games/products. I'll give it to Nintendo this year. The same as when Sony/MS announce new hardware they will steal it. Welcome to HD graphics Nintendo. About time.

i was impressed with their performance. just the same as last year and year before but better.
now sony got me convinced that PSV is a special handheld console. uncharted, wipeout, hustle king and LBP. wow.

i havent followed other conferences but from what i heard thru tweets, Nintendo has the worst showing. MS wasnt too bad. a little better than 2 years ago.

Sony had a GREAT E3, but I think a lot of gamers are just saying that because Microsoft focused mainly on Kinect. A company wants people to be interested in their product and meet their demands for once, sue them...

What bugged me about MS was
1) Kinect Focus
2) They advertised the multiplatform games like it were their own.

At least Sony showed alot of exclusive content and the multiplatform content they just hinted that it has more DLC

The gamers won.

720p is GARBAGE

the xbox720 will be out 2012 holiday with halo4 and tomb raider as launch titles in true 1080p.....that is all that maaters....and the wii u will be 1080p......

sony better do something......they are gonna be left with only a handheld if they do not launch in 2012 also....or else get dustede by inferior machines a year early......hear that sony....launch your new console in 2012 or else hyave all the same fiirst 3 year problems you had with the ps3

Overall i feel this year's E3 was a bit lacking in the surprise department, but I think Sony took it this year. The Vita being priced at 250 was one of those moments where I was like "Hell Yeah". Now, I'm waiting on TGS hoping for some big announcements.

Sony not their best showing but still the best of the big 3.

Nintendo really messed up announcing a new console hardware.

I have to say E3 was not great this year for any of the major companies.

MS - nothing new - no new IP's - figured that. Kinect games, some looked ok, some looked bad - lag was noticed on many. - Overall - C

Sony - game lineup was great, didnt get the wow factor that Sony usually has - maybe I just expect more - Overall B

Nintendo - horrible start with Zelda and the translator and orchestra. Nothing about the Wii in terms of games. WiiU kind of a let down. Yes, the controller looks amazing in what it can do, but they didnt show the system itself, discuss a firm release date, or give exact specs. The bird demo and few games shown were not nothing we have not seen already from the Xbox and PS3 = Overall C+

I found nothing to get excited about on any of the platforms this E3, oh' well next year then lol
