E3 2011: Ubisoft Press Conference – Key Notes

Electronic Entertainment Expo is an event that comes once a year. It is the gaming industries version of the superbowl – where dreams, excitement, and a place where our money vanishes in an instant. We here at Gamer Euphoria are long time fans of this event, and for the third year in a row are here to provide you with our play-by-play insights as the event unfolds.

We are very excited to see what 2011 brings to the table, as well as allocating funds and deciding what we will be playing in the next 12 months. Next up is Ubisoft. What are we to expect – Assassins Creed!

My grade for the conferences so far...

Microsoft: 4/10

Good: Minecraft, Halo 4, Halo CE, dashboard updates

Bad: Everything kinect related

EA: 7/10

Good: Over Strike, Fifa 12, Mass Effect 3

Bad: Nothing surprising, besides Over Strike

Ubisoft: 8/10

Good: Rayman Origins, Driver, Assassins Creed, Far Cry 3 announcement

Bad: Rabbids looks stupid, rocksmith looks equally dumb, Tin Tin looks poor as well.

C'mon SONY!!!!

We kind of digged the look of Overstrike, but Microsoft did indeed put a weaking sohwing up with the new Fable game looking awful. E.A was strong and Ubisoft held their own but we felt Rayman took up too much time.
We'll be popping up a Sony key notes tonight with are views so feel free to check that out aswell, our staff are very much looking towards Sony's showing with a joyish smile!

Thanks for taking the time to comment!

I can't sit here and act like I know these workers financial situations. And I'm sure nobody wakes up WANTING to go to court. But for the sake of the industry, I wish some of these types of cases made it to trial.

Settlements allow companies to continue to do whatever abusive practices they do. While the trials (should the company lose) would actually force real changes for the better.

But again, I'm not in these workers shoes and I can understand them not wanting to risk it.
