From best to worst:

EA
Ubisoft
Microsoft

Although Ubisoft was up there with EA

GunofthePatriots5380d ago

I liked Konami's pre presser the most so far.
But I agree with the rest.

bruddahmanmatt5380d ago

Someone please take Joel McHale out back and shoot him. The guy does nothing but embarrass himself on stage and while Ubisoft had a few nice games to show off today, asshat McFAIL was a nonstop distraction.

BISHOP-BRASIL5380d ago

That wasn't McHale, the guy presenting Ubisoft conference this year Aaron Priceman... "The Mr. Caffeine".

Apart from that, totally agreed, shoot the clown.

bruddahmanmatt5380d ago

In that case, shoot Priceman. I don't get Ubisoft. They straight insult everyone when they pretend like gamers are all five year old boys who'll get a kick out of d**k jokes. You wanna wow gamers, develop and publish good games.

HeavenlySnipes5380d ago

the guy that hosted the Ubi conference kept making jokes that no one laughed at.

maniacmayhem5380d ago

Yea, they should just have straight presenters not wanna be comedians.

Iamback5380d ago

Don't have a clue who that guy was but I and my bro found him funny.
Best conference so far, lets hope Sony delivers the goods.

maniacmayhem5380d ago

Cool, glad you found him funny.
Some of his comments tho were just flat and not delivered well.

HeavenlySnipes5380d ago

their attempt to censor the FarCry 3 trailer, the guy would swear then thy would bleep after word. Later on, the just bleeped everything the militia commander guy said because they didn't want to risk him saying fuck on tv again lol.

tunaks15380d ago

aside from the lame dick jokes,
it was pretty good.

sfadul5380d ago

What plataform is the Farcry 3 video showing? Did anyone notice that the "A" Buttom from the video dosent look like they usually do on the XBOX?

Could this game be running on the new Nintendo console.

Ubisoft CEO Explains Three-Year Plan to Revamp Game Publisher Through New ‘Creative House’ Strategy

“Assassin’s Creed” publisher Ubi soft is trying to emerge from a rocky few years. CEO Yves Guillemot breaks down the new strategy for success.

Well it will come down to the games. Hopefully they live up in o expectation.

“Ubi soft is trying to emerge from a rocky few years“

^ THIS after Ubisoft’s fluff pieces about how great they are doing after Assassins, Attack on Titan and laying offs. The hype fell the floor apparently.

Agent756d ago

I was a bit gutted with The Division, too many bells and whistles like Far Cry. Never rated Prince of Persia or The Crew. Rayman, it’s too long in the tooth, lay it to rest.

PRIMORDUS6d ago

Far Cry and Assassin's Creed, this is all Ubishit can make. It would be better if Ubishit just close down, and sell their other IP's, like Splinter Cell, Beyond Good and Evil, etc. Far Cry and Assassin's Creed can just die, that is enough.

KicksnSnares4d ago

We need a Far Cry 2 remastered/remake.

They should just make games. That sounds crazy, I know, but, hear me out.

No need for dev-times to.take 3+ years. Just stick to formula. Not every game needs to be bigger & better than everything else. Not every game needs to be GaaS. Not every game needs to completely re-invent the wheel.

They KNOW how to make a cool Splinter Cell game; Interesting story, 8-10 levels, just go and make it. Give the people want they know, want and love. It doesn't need to be a shared online experience. It doesn't need to be an epic big open world. It doesn't need celebrity voice-acting. Just make a cool new SC game, and the fans will be happy and pick it up. Easy. Done. Next one.

Same for Prince of Persia, Watch-Dogs, Assassin's Creed, Trials, Rayman, Brothers in Arms, etc.
