I'd find it funny that at the end it all lead to Microsoft and they were the main people behind it, jealouse of them having no exclusives because some people are right...it's funny how they havent been hacked yet. (That was a joke by the way don't take it seriously)

I mean from Sony to Nintendo who havent done anything wrong....I;m sorry but if I was a hacker who wanted to leave another mark in gaming history like the PSN attack I would go for Xbox Live not Nintendo because that's what there doing it for...attention.

Thank you for fighting for my rights by ruining them with your childish crusade and subsequently opening the flood gates to others that feel the need to validate their existence by destroying an entire group of people's, otherwise good time. This isn't a big loss really. I mean who even plays Nintendo Wii games online? For me the Wii is all about awesome single player and offline party multiplayer.

I am not surprised that they hacked Nintendo. I bet you that they were dying to steal info on Nintendos next console. Also people claim that XBOXlive cant be hacked but if there are hackers who want to hack it, it shall happen.

Let's just hope that eventually these hacks get less publicized because what they're after most of all..is recognition.

The more we click on articles about hacking, the more incentive websites have to publish them, the more "cred" these guys get.

To all those wondering why MS hasn't been hacked, consider that they probably been have but simply haven't reported it. They might not have lost any sensitive data or merely do not think it prudent to report being hacked right now. As far as I know, they aren't legally bound to report things like that, and as that professional hacker was saying in an article here a few days ago, only about 17% of companies report being hacked.

Anyway, this is simply the logical conclusion to the support of a group of people who are accountable to no one and whose identities are unknown. It was stupid for gamers, any gamers, to support what hackers were doing for this reason alone, regardless of their "philosophical" leanings. I don't know if there is an analogy for a situation like this, but I would call it something akin to hiring psychopaths as soldiers. Sure, initially, they may kill the enemy and their goals may simply coincide with that of the military, but after the battle, there is no reason or impetus to stop them from wreaking havoc all over the place simply for the "lulz" of it. They are capricious, highly egocentric, have no moral compass to speak of, and thrive so pathetically on their perversion of empathy. I can't tell if I'm referring to these "hackers" or psychopaths, although psychopaths generally don't have pretensions of operating under some lofty philosophical ideal, as far as I know.

Suffice it to say, this is not good for the industry in general, and I'd say for the world at large.
