Konami released the first screenshots of Frogger 3D.

Frogger is one of the longest running franchises in gaming history. The 3DS was not a platform to miss this classic series, but you may have missed this title.

"Going beyond the traditional style seen time and time again, Konami felt it was time to take things to a different level with Frogger 3D. With hardcore fans of the original arcade game making their waning interest known over these last couple years, it's become more and more vital for each new iteration to give the fans what they want. However, it seems like with each new Frogger project, more than just a lack of enthusiasm prevails. It seems to me that both casual and hardcore fans are turned off by the idea of having this series live on under Konami's current direction. Thoughts of this nature were looming around E3 last year, and even I was skeptical that Frogger 3D would turn out to be a positive turn-around for the somewhat troubled franchise. In truth, the developers have done their best to push Frogger into new territory and focus less on rehashing. And although it took a while for me to realize it, it wouldn't be fair to dismiss Frogger 3D entirely." -- Wiiloveit.com

Anthony.D writes: Frogger is ready to hop back into the limelight for his 30th anniversary and this time he makes the leap to 3D on the Nintendo 3DS. Does Frogger have what it takes to jump around with the rest of the crowd or does this frog not make it across the road?
Yay?
Some of these games can be a lot of fun. I remember this game called Frogger: He's Back (for the PC - not PSX but I think they are the same game) being a blast. Spent hours on it getting all the frogs.
Anyone who wants a fun and hard game should try to find Frogger: He's Back.
How many here played Frogger on the Atari? How far we have come.
The screen has way to much going on. Way to cluttered. No thanks.
i wonder if this is gonna be downloadable because i aint paying for it otherwise
