This game seems made for the 360. I've been playing it on the PC with the 360 gamepad and it works flawlessly. I hope the console port opens this amazing world to more gamers, and gives CDPR the funds to produce a future GOTY with The Witcher 3.

EDIT: Good call Beastly. It's most definitely a PC game--with a console version in mind.

If it was made for 360 it wouldn't look like it does on pc! I think you mean it was made with 360 in mind..

I don't mind if any pc game comes to console as long as I don't play a console port!

I don't mind a game like BF3 on consoles! not at all!

I approve of this video & game!

Edit: no ps3 version kinda sucks I want them to play this to! & Oddly enough this is the first CGI trailer I have seen of the witcher2 lol I am not saying that means anything I am just saying..

MS need bring more than fable to pc though..

RPG's dont sell on the 360 ?

Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Mass Effect series and Fable series all say hi.

BTW there isnt a single multiplat wrpg this gen that has sold more on the PS3. 360 version always sells more.

I challenge you to name a single wrpg on the PS3 that has outsold a 360 version.

The thing is that on the 360 GAMES sell in general, from shooter to wrpg and the numbers prove it.

Wrpgs are far more popular on the 360 than ps3. I mean come on ps3 has no wrpgs except oblivian, fallout, and mass effect 2 without part one. Ps was japanese it was king of jrpgs but the xbox is western its the king of fps wrpgs. 360 gets all the pc wrpgs like risen, divinity 2, witcher 2, kotor, jade empire, mass effect, fable exc so its a logocal step. I acually wondered why MS didnt fund the witcher 1 to be ported to 360 its all they needed was a publisher. I was gna get a rig for this im soooo glad i dnt have to. This is a KILLER for the 360, bigger than ff13 and everything else. I do feel bad for ps3 only folks but theres tons of good games coming so whatev. GOTY 360!!!!!!!

I'm glad that the 360 is getting this great game. I'm also glad CD Projekt developed this on PC first and console second. I hope you 360 owners enjoy the game and make them a good deal of money so that I can play The Witcher 3.

However I have to say, I was massively let down by the announcement considering how much they hyped it up. I thought it was going to be an expansion pack seeing as how everyone already knew it was coming to 360.

I always wanted to play this game, but was not willing to buy a new PC just to play it. Now it is on 360 I will give it a go for sure.

On a side note: The console exclusivity should be no big deal to my PS3 friends. They have about 20 exclusive this year. That sould be plenty to hold them over. A game like this would hurt Sony's bottom line, as it would take away from the sales of some of those expensive exclusives. 360 is a better bet for 3rd party because it has fewer exclusive and is cheaper to develope on. You see, every plus has and equal minus.

One more thing. It will sell more on 360 than it does on PC, if the port is a good port. I think the developers are very aware of this. This is a big deal for 360 owners and the developer (win win).

Isn't it nice to own both, so you don't have to look like some of these fanboy clowns when something like this happens. Hell I'm glad I own all 3 current gen consoles. To be honest my most anticipated game this year is Zelda:SS, but I am really glad to have a chance to get this game, seeing as how I only have a laptop.

It's one of the higher rated RPG's around. I would think at this point that the PS3 would be included but maybe at a different date as to not effect the sales of Uncharted 3 in November.

Regardless, the 360 demographic is perfect for this game and the sales of Fable prove that. I'm sure a 360 live demo will be present at E3. M$ sure are sneaky. All of a sudden the Holiday period is getting crowded with some big BIG titles...what's next???

Fable sells a lot because it's a casual game that's not shovelware that anyone can play and complete.

Fable is the only quasi-core game that my GF can play and actually really enjoys. It's impossible to die in the game, it tells you exactly where to go, but it feels like you've accomplished something and it has a story.

Note: My GF can't play shooters because can't control both cameras, it's disorients her until she just spins in one spot, it's freaking hilarious....then really boring.

lmao Fable is some action adventure bullshit...this is a proper RPG....360 fans and ps3 fans love wrpgs something not as popular in the previous gen. Last gen it was all about jrpgs. However there are some awesome jrpgs coming for the ps3 and a few for the 360 but the 360 crowd do not like jrpgs :(

that depends, if the game is modded and added to like the first then the average pc is where I'd go.

Shame it's not announced for PS3, lots of people should play this game. It's good for Xbox owners though, but personally I'm glad I got it on PC (and I usually hate PC gaming).

I have played the game on PC. It's just the game is designed for PC and i really have no idea how the developer can port such a complicated game to cosoles.I think they are being greedy that's all.

I hate this kind of console exclusivity crap. Either release it for PS3 too or GTFO! I bet they'll release next Witcher for PS3 for "obvious" reasons just like Metro: Last Light and Saint's Row 2-3.

Hey hey, stop thinking about exclusivity. They're developers, they're human beings.

As far as I'm concerned, they didn't say the PS3 version was cancelled, or how do you explain this (at the bottom)? http://www.dasreviews.com/w...

If it's easier/faster for them to release it on Xbox 360, so be it, they'll get a lot of money and a lot of players will be delighted.
Then they can focus on the PS3 port with all the ressources they'll have.

We'll just Wait & See. For now, the only thing I'm concerned about is how the game will look on Xbox, but I trust Cd Projekt Red. If they succeed in making the Xbox version gorgeous then I'll not worry about the PS3 version, should it be developed.

Edit : Loved the CGI bits of that trailer. Makes you wonder why we never see real movies made like that.

Im kinda worried about the graphics for this game coming to xbox. Not because its just xbox but because this game is a graphic powerhouse even for PCs. You need a mid-high range graphic card on Pc to run it decently. Unfortunately my pc cant run it right now so i will probably pick this up for 360 unless i buy a better graphics card before that.

It's is called timed exclusivity.
very nice thing to make people pay less attention to one problem and more to the glamorous news of a new exclusive game on their system, even though just for a short time

@ Lucreto (below) - Microsoft have nothing on the exclusivity of TW2 on consoles. CD Projekt Red are independant and can choose to bring this to PS3 if they want to (which they do). The only thing stopping them doing a PS3 version at the current time is limited resources.

I expect this will be released in November around Skyrim release date.

It will appear on the PS3 next year some time as

1. If it was important MS would have showed it off on Monday.
2. MS is not publishing it so it might happen.

it's not a 360 exclusive but it's a 360 console-exclusive.
Already playing it on PC and the game is just amazing. 360 owners are probably going to love this game a lot!
too bad for PS3 owners... I think that PS3 got a lot of extremely good games coming out this year and next year, so why not let the 360 fans enjoying an exclusive of their own?
If they really want it, they'll buy a 360 or a good PC to play it.
