I have a 360 so this would have been awesome news BUT I just shelled some cash over for a kickass gaming laptop...think I'll buy the PC version instead.

Anyway this is great news for 360 owners, from what I've read and seen this game it's going to be a helluva gem.

Click your user icon in the upper right of the page and click "settings" in the left column. On the settings page, the bottom option gives you the option to hide people with 1 bubble.

the fact that this was officially announced today and not on MS's press conference on monday makes me think that it's coming to PS3 as well

also quality will suffer, 360 hardware can't handle the graphics shown on high ends PCs with this game

Nor can the PS3.
The irony is the only possible console that can handle the visuals without too much compromises would be the Wii 2 if those rumored specifications turn out to be correct

Yes wasting time on a game that is already out during a busy E3 scedual is the way to go :p

360 can't handle pc graphics? Seems to be doing better than other consoles. I'm half way through crysis 2

I'm hoping they're holding off to announce it during Sony's conference. Possible, just not very probable. One can hope, though.

If it doesn't come to PS3, though, can always try it out on the 360.

The plan was *always* to bring Witcher 2 to consoles as stated by the devs.

I'd think hiring PS3 programmers and the voiced intent to port it to PS3 means a PS3 version is coming at some point.

A simultaneous release surprise? Who knows? But it would not surprise me if it came later since CDP are, like most devs, less adept with the black box.

Its a great game for sure. I hope it comes out for the ps3 as well (I just spent 70hrs with it on the pc with my PS3 controller )

They had to cancel the Witcher 1 for consoles due to financial reasons. I can only assume it's 360 only because of the more straightforward porting process.

It was announced at CDP Conference that's going on right now. Has nothing to do with MS.

EDIT: Comes out at the end of the year. No word on PS3 version, quality wont suffer.
