Square Enix released new screenshots of Dungeon Siege III.

Square Enix announced its financial results for the first nine months of the fiscal year, related to the period between April and December 2025.

3D Investment Partners, a major shareholder of Square Enix, issued a 112-page presentation criticizing the company's 'sluggish' revenue and profit margins.
Waaah waaah our profits aren't big enough! I mean, they're still growing and all, but we want it faster and NOW! Waaaah!

MP1st managed to get our hands on Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined months before it releases, and here's our hands-on preview!
this game looks good and i want it....but its dev'd by obsidian.....that's not good since all they seem to make is fail and broken
Except the part where that's not true and they have developed several excellent games that were a little rough around the edges, and not to mention they are made up of the remnants of what many consider two of the best RPG studios to grace the industry (Troika, Black Isle. The creators of Fallout 1 & 2, Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines, Planescape Torment and Icewind Dale)
Kotor 2? I thought it was fantastic and an improvement over the first in several regards and had Lucasarts allowed a proper development cycle instead of the 9 or so months that they were provided it would have been much more finished (seriously, they have full tracks of music and voice overs on the game that was never used. An entire planet was cut due to LA forcing them to launch for the holidays.) and polished. Even still they delivered a lovely game with a very interesting and original plot and a great deal of memorable characters.
Fallout New Vegas was also very good and boasted dramatically improved writing and characters, and improved gameplay over Fallout 3.
Neverwinter Nights 2 is also supposed to be good, with Mask of The Betrayer in specific supposed to be excellent.
Only game you could say is a failure is Alpha Protocol which I haven't played so I won't comment on.
It seems like a lot of the Obsidian hate is misguided and it appears to be a bandwagon to me. There are so many studios much more deserving of hate.
I can only hope that the decision to go multi-platform has not created a lesser end product. I guess we'll find out.
