New One Handed Controller

Heckendorn writes on his blog today that a next-gen version of his original one-handed controller concept is indeed going to be manufactured, but for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It will also arrive in a much different form. This one happens to be even more accessible, as it doesn't require the use of a thigh.

The Access controller, as Ben has dubbed it, features an extra layer of accessibility with a series of swappable modules. Owners of the Access can rearrange buttons, analogue sticks, shoulder buttons, and the d-pad for the configuration of their choice. Neat!

doesnt look usable 2 me now if it had some more normal (ish) two handed controller with the modules and all Id be hyped.

I guess this is cool if you only have one hand. I can't see anyone with two working hands wanting to use this thing.

Edit: Is anything wrong with those two statements? Why the criticism?

BloodySinner6704d ago

It's not for people with two hands.

Ben heck deserves all the good fortune possible for stuff like this.

Prismo_Fillusion6704d ago

Yes, he does. I have a younger cousin who is disabled and missing one hand - I'll have to mention this to his family. w00t.

At first I was like, No Code Veronica on the list!? But then I seen Mainline. The list checks out, but I would personally put 2 over 4.

KwietStorm_BLM6d ago

I'll take 2 over 4 also. And even without a number, I don't see how Code Veronica, my other favorite in the franchise, isn't mainline when it's the actual sequel to RE2.

Rebel_Scum6d ago

The original RE was the best. Its not on the list which makes no sense.

The remake of it was alright but should be higher on this list.

-Foxtrot6d ago

The original RE smokes VII and Village, come on.
