Today sees the launch of a brand new set of features for raptr, as they branch off into gaming news. This open beta means an account holder can now ‘follow’ games they are interested in, and automatically have news regarding that game posted to a ‘news feed’ section of their homepage."

Raptr have launched their new video site Plays.Tv, which allows users to easily edit and upload in-game footage, following a $14 million investments from backers.

Raptr has emailed its users stating that it intends to phase out console support on its website and has decided to "focus our resources on PC gaming exclusively.".

Raptr, the video game-themed social networking site was hacked, so if you have an account, the company suggests you change any passwords associated with it.
The heavy-handed moderation of N4G is strangling intelligent commentary. A model based on reddit using your gamertags sounds like an excellent approach.
haha, my website is a launch partner for their new site! Impressive stuff I have to say!
