Tecmo Koei America today announced it has launched the much-loved classic football game Tecmo Bowl for the iPhone and the iPod touch. Tecmo Bowl Throwback, which is now available in the App Store for a price of £4.99 / €5.99 , brings all the side-scrolling gridiron excitement of the original game to iOS in a feature-packed and intuitive package for players of all ages.

The game wasn’t really all that much about football but a great competitive, arcade-style experience that could be experienced just as well by sports fans and casual gamers alike.
