In my view, they should probably merge MP with Warzone and essentially make it free to play like Halo Infinite. The campaign/zombies mode can be $30 yearly DLC. I know this would be insanity as most COD players essentially pay the full price of the game simply for the MP. However-with a shrinking player base they may have to consider it. Making it free would bring in a ton of players.

The money was certainly there, and they could have taken their time revamping the franchise:
Current-gen tech, manageable microtransactions, not imitating Fortnite and returning to core values of the franchise's origin.

I adored Battlefield Bad Company 2's Vietnam expansion. Sucks to hear this was scrapped for CoD. I haven't touched CoD since Modern Warfare 2 came out. (The original one.) I would have definitely checked that out though.

It's only demonized because they're not used to a war setting in London unless it's in a fictional WWII-related setting (like Resistance). Bullshit is what it is. You've got no problem playing MW2 and watching DC burn to the ground, but when it's your modern country, all the sudden all hell breaks loose.
What if someone was to say "MW3 is unconstitutional because it features fictional violence in New York, where the World Trade Center was in 9/11?" You'd get pissed because you can't play MW3.
