"Chrono Trigger is one of the best video games ever made. A universally cherished role-playing game, it was originally released for the Super Nintendo in 1995. Its creation is the stuff of legend, as it was developed by a dream team of the most talented RPG makers of the 16-bit era, all coming together to work on this one epic project. And though it would be easy to write pages upon pages to explain its appeal, I'll attempt just three key points to sum it up what makes it so timeless."

Unannounced Chrono Trigger Formism figures were spotted at a 30th Anniversary concert, fueling renewed speculation following Square Enix’s earlier anniversary plans.

Square Enix reveals Chrono Trigger: Melodies That Resonate Across Time, an orchestral album featuring ten classic tracks performed at the 30th anniversary concert in Tokyo.
A remake or even a modern port would do since it is one of the best games all time. Can’t believe it’s been 30 years since I first played it
Yasunori Mitsuda is a talented composer I love the music both from Chrono Trigger, Xenogears. I will always enjoy Nobuo Uematsu as well. I would love to have seen the Chrono Trigger concert live.

Chrono Trigger’s 30th anniversary will be celebrated with a full orchestra concert in Tokyo on January 17–18, 2026.
Can you announce a Chrono Trigger remaster or something and stop pretending you don't have millions of people that would buy it day 1? Morons.
3 more years and Xenogears will be 30. I would love to see Chrono Trigger get the FFVII treatment.
I've played few R.P.G.'s as many times as I've played this one, and I honestly can't say that I've played a better one.
WOW, i have never seen that picture of crono..Looks dang good. Whoever drew that kudos to you.
This was my first RPG, and even now, it's still my favorite. If you haven't played Chrono Trigger, and you're a fan of RPG's, then definitely get this game.
P.S. This game has one of the best, if not, the best soundtrack in any video game.
