Sarcastic Gamer laments: Why is this? As a console-only gamer I am having a hard time understanding the business reasons on why a developer would craft a sequel to an immensely popular franchise that began on both PC and consoles and then exclude consoles from the platforms when they release it!

Two-day event includes exclusive reveals, trailers and playable games on show floor.

CEO Haruki Satomi said Sega will "take these lessons into account for future initiatives"

EA is laying off an unknown number of individuals from across its Battlefield teams, including workers at Criterion, Dice, Ripple Effect, and Motive Studios, IGN understands.
When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!
cue the apologist saying that these are mostly just contractors hired for this specific project bla bla bla
Read the article (I know most don't) the guy makes good points on games that became exclusive for no reason.
you fail at life
you have a macbook, that is your first mistake, unless you are a coffee shop poser or an emo art major, whats the point of a macbook ???
anywho.....the reason the are not many mmo's on console is simple
Consoles are underpowered 6-7 year old tech that would be a slideshow running Star Wars TOR, look at the lame ass DC online, it looks TERRIBLE and still runs under 30 frames per second, hell, city of heroes looks better than DC Online on PS3 (it came out in 2004)
Star Wars TOR actually looks ok
Maybe next gen, sell your macbook, learn to connect and hdmi so you can pc game on your couch like i do on a 50" plasma with badass surround sound
Whats the point of having a $2000 Surround sound, a $1500 TV, a $900 leather recliner and gaming in shite 720p on a $200 toy??????????
man up
"The only computer I have is a MacBook"
Stops reading.
People , Read..
The guy pretty much admits his macbook (not Pro) is not good for gaming, and will ensure to build a gaming PC..
@yamzilla , with those comments I'm guessing having a Macbook Pro is ok ? After all I run windows on mine for portable gaming, and OSX for all my Music Production apps....
