A good GPU will cost you 200usd. thats not the price of the Xbox heres the price of the xbox:

300usd
60usd per year for xbl
10-20usd premium per game bought over pc version
add in super expensive accessories

In the end a Xbox 360 is costlier then a PC.

If millions of people paid top dollar for Fall Out Vegas then this game having a 100 bugs wont stop it from selling on consoles.

$200 will get you a low to mid range card at best.

$400+ mark is where I am when buying a new GPU. More than most consoles.

Even if that is the range you are looking at, in the long run the PC is cheaper why?

because you need a PC at home anyways, its not like you dont need one.

Getting a 300usd console or 400usd GPU to play games, every game bought for that 400usd GPU is cheaper and will be playable for very long periord of time.

Goes without saying even the 200usd GPU will play most games out today in 1080p buying a 400usd gpu is an overkill for 95% of the games out.

Once that new console gen hits what ever you purchased for that last console is no longer playable on the new box, unless you keep rebuying the old console (something you dont need to do with GPUs to play older titles).

Console gaming is expensive in the long run and leaves you at the mercy of the console maker, its a fact no matter how you pull it. A recent example being of PS3 users not even being able to go online.

Oh puh-LEEEEEEEEZ. Look at the best selling PC games. World of Warcraft and the Sims; them and all of their DLC/expansion packs, no matter how awful, trumped other games over and over. And as much as you'd like to believe that the online PC community is a bunch of geniuses, too smart for Call of Duty, I'll bet that steam sales would sing a different tune, if they ever released them. I know that COD was right on top on those '5 best selling' steam charts for a while.

actually, it would be very near the pc version, just not the same as a maxed out high end pc, which most people do NOT have.so chill with the anti comments. it would most probably be in 720p and that works for me and would for everyone else.

I have a ati hd 5770 card (which runs at about 130 dollars now) and can play this game at ultra setting. Add that to a amd quad core and you have a nice gaming rig for the price of a console.

The myth that you need a new 1,000 dollar i7 pcu, and a 500 dollar graphics card to run modern games just isn't true.
