CheatCC says - Dead Rising was one of the beacons of hope in the early Xbox 360 lineup. At a time when developers were still adjusting to the rigors of high-definition game development, turning out eye-candy ports with missing features, Dead Rising demonstrated the gameplay potential of the new generation. Here was a title that used its hardware to plaster the screen with insurmountable hordes of shambling enemies in a visually busy open world. Here was a game that turned the environment, and almost every object found therein, into improvised tools for zombie genocide. Here was a game that was fun for short bursts of stress relief, but still offered a variety of deep systems in interplay and a branching, malleable plot-line.

I played the first, and I bought #4. Other than that, strangely haven't played any of the others. I'll get round to it one day though I guess.
