GameZone's David Sanchez takes a look at the top 5 pirate games that should be a part of every pirate lovers gaming library.

Gary Green said: Man, what a game. I remember it like it was yesterday; The epic that was Skies of Arcadia revealed for the Dreamcast. It was the triumphant and long overdue return of Sega's in-house JRPGs, and a very welcome successor after the gradual phasing out of the Shining series. We had this huge, fresh aerial world to explore and a pirate-themed narrative. Those that invested in the ill-fated Dreamcast usually had the sky-faring masterpiece at the top of their favourites list, and with good reason.
Skies of Arcadia 1 and 2 is truly an awesome series of games. I hope that Sega remasters them some day. I would love for a physical full-fat release with all the extras from development to give new players a chance to become fans of the series. Thanks for doing a new review to shine some light on this wonderful lost gem.
Can still hear Vyse screaming Piraaaate Wraaaaaathhh! attack or how awesome it was to summon all of the Blue Rogues.
Such a great RPG I hope Sega does spit and a shine and show this game some love.
Part of the reason I still have a Wii floating around the TV in my room is to play Skies of Arcadia. Sega really needs to do something with the IP.

There are a bunch of amazing video game genres. A genre that is loved by many is JRPGs. So, let's talk about 10 JRPGs that deserve a remake.
Throw in Arc the Lad, Grandia, Legend of Legaia, Galarians, Xenosaga, Ar Tonelico.
I would even settle for these games being brought to modern consoles.
Personally, I prefer to buy all the "remasters" of classic games on Switch so I can play them @work and on the bus.
I haven't played Parasite Eve since the 90's and I'd love to again!
The amount of obscured PS1 rpgs that never saw new life on later consoles and will probably never see new life again is honestly very saddening for me. JRPGs in terms of story telling and world building are just unbelievably unparalleled. Maybe I'm wrong but I think JRPGs truly died in the PS360 era. The level of weirdness and mind fuccery found in PS1/2 rpgs just doesn't exist today.

Humble Bundle is joining in with the Black Friday festivities, offering up 17 Disney games for around $10 - now available for a limited time.
Good list! :)
I wish Rockstar would make a pirate game, they've proven they can create interest in an untapped genre, just look at what they did for the western.
good list :)
Skies of Arcadia looks like a really neat game, but I never played it :( Really want to though!
Sweet, lovin that Zack and Wiki are in there. Definitely one of the best Wii games that I have in my library next to Mario Galaxy and Smash Bros.
