L.A Noire Crash Caused By Save Game Bug?

NextGN: "I've got a 60GB launch fatty, and I love it too much to buy a brand spanking new, slimmer, console. But owning the classics doesn't always pay-off. Reports are flooding in from around the web about the old consoles (Xbox 360 and PS3) overheating and sometimes even bricking while playing Rockstar's L.A Noire. Unfortunately, I am one of those unfortunate blokes who is also suffering from this... but I managed to fix it."

I've played through well pass the "Dalia Killings" and I've yet to encounter this crash that everyone is talking about. I've had an unusual longer than normal loading period right after solving a street crime but that's it. Games been working fine on my PS3.

Same here, I have a CECHH 40GB model. Working fine. The fan kicked on pretty high sometimes, but that could be attributed to the new thermal paste I just installed. It won't be completely effective until curred. It's getting better and better as the days go on.

New slim but mine had this stuttering on 2 occasions but for a couple secs then stopped. Been good since then...

Omg LOL he isn't lying though i believe I was doing a street crime case and we had to chase the guy down so he went through some alleyways and went through a parking lot. So me and Roy are going straight at high speed we crash into a truck driving into us at the parking lot. After that the truck drove on top of my car and I couldn't move any more for a good 5 minutes but lucky me the suspect crashed a few blocks from where I was.

LOL. The only weird glitch I've encountered is the cop located right in the front desk of HQ. He was standing right on his chair behind his desk. As if a mouse scared him up there :)

This is as funny as opening up LA Noire, and seeing 3 of the same disc inside.

Hopefully McNamara is as far away from this as possible he set up shop in Australia then did nothing but complain about Australian labour laws while trying to make his workers live at the office working 24/7 on la noire punishing them for leaving at 3 am and being 10 minutes late to work at 9am the next day.

It's astonishing that none of the workers went to the fair work ombudsman as the studio would have been fined astronomical numbers

Brendan McNamara is a brilliant writer and director but he should never, ever be in charge of a studio. What he did to those devs was far beyond "crunch", and it went on for, what, 7 years? That's insane.

But I'm glad to see some of that team have come together again to create something new. A psychological thriller sounds right up my alley.
