Death is a concept any living being is familiar with. One day your body will cease to function and that is the end of your mortal coil. In gaming, however, no one ever really dies. Permanent death is an alien concept to developers and players alike. Nightmare Mode writer Grant decides to partake in an experiment where he play through Terraria with a single life–no respawns, redos, nothing like that. One life, that’s it.
The self imposed rule of only one life will require that he studies his environment, that he respect the creatures and the natural landscape. A more ‘scientific’ approach favoring observation and knowledge. Thus, hopefully this will be the start of a small series of articles to better understand the behavior of the monsters and the ecology of Terraria.

Re-Logic: "August was quite an eventful month for Team Terraria. We are well into the final push for Terraria 1.4.5 (for real, more on that below), and tickets are flying through the system. Several members of the team were also able to get together in person this month for the first time in many years - and for the first time ever with some folks. We have also been able to take care of a lot of planning for "what comes next" that will hopefully make for more consistency down the line. More on that in the future. With that said, we are all back home and ready to push this over the line."
