The pc version comes first. And most likely it will be the superior version if its ever released on some other platform.

the developement of this game have been focused on Pc.
So it shouldrun smooth anfd dont cause any sort of problem or something.

If gameplay is not dumbed down thats great and if I like it on pc Ill just might buy it again if it ever comes to ps3 or a next gen system (Ps4/ Cafe/ xbox 3 or even NGP that would be cool IMO)

But right now Im only thinking of buying it through steam.

Yam, wii games is a stretch to say the least.

It's a stunning looking game no doubt.

But 720p@30fps is possible.

Considering this game is only dx9. Looks great.

I've seen all the games you mentioned and they look great as well.

I'm playing Red Dead Redemption atm, not a day one for me, and some of it is stunning as well.

The lighting, movement of the horses, the feel of the game and i'm playing this on the PS3.

And no, CRYSIS 2 did not look like shit at all on console, barren,lol. The streets are a mess, the buildings are massive, the lighting is awesome, for cryteks first outing. It's impressive and gets better later on.

crysis 2 and rdr on console are sub hd- crysis 2 is 1024x620 on ps3 and a wee bit higher on 360, it stutters and runs below 30 frames a good deal, there is a ton of pop-in and jaggies all over the screen,

on pc, it runs at 120 frames per second in 1080p with 16x anti aliasing, has no pop in and looks pretty freaking amazing

look how they had to butcher crysis 2 to get it to run on 2004 hardware

sure , they could do that with the witcher 2 also, they just don't want to

wait for next gen when there are real "hd" consoles

and i don't hate consoles at all, i have them all and have had them since 2005 when i paid $400 for my xbox, 2006 when i paid $600 for my ps3, plus bought 3 games each at $60 and a second controller for each at $50, wifi adapter for 360($100), 2 hdmi cables($40), 2 blurays($70)

$1670 before tax, 1770 after i liked my consoles back then, but very rarely now, demons souls was kool, and ummmmmmm

thats it, that is the last console game i really liked (actually i freaking loved demons souls, in my top 10 games ever), god of war 3 was fun for the ten hours i played it, rented it and returned it, i own it now cause blockbuster was going bankrupt and i bought it there for $12, still have not played it again probably never will

Can't you guys just enjoy the game and the fact that a dev put us PC guys first? Is there really a need to act so high and mighty on the basis of this rare occasion?

But most do not care about x16aa, i don't either anymore tbh. I prefer games that give something new. As long as they look and run decent, i'm happy.

Take crysis2 on console, Yes there are places where there's some slowdown, for the most part it's pretty smooth tbh, and i've played through it 3times, and enjoyed it, probably more then crysis.

I'm not an openworld type player anyway, prefer story linear etc. Take Red dead redemption, nice looking game, runs well, Massive landscape etc. But i just want to finish the story and i'll get rid of asap.

Probably also the reason i enjoyed the uncharted games, something decent about them, story,pacing,fun,battles,chara cters, all while having good graphics and steady fps.

I only owned PS1, went straight to PC after that. Played all the battlefield games to death.Also all the quakes Q2,Q3 ETC. Waiting for BF3:)

I'm not saying the game would look exactly the same on console, what i'm saying is. It would look would very decent. Depending of course on the texture streaming,quality of shaders and shadows etc.

On PS3 MLAA, 360 MSAA. Probably 2aa on 360.

As for dumbed down, Remember when crysis came out, alot of pc gamers were playing that@ 15-20fps no aa.,lol. Because they wanted it looking good, when in low settings it looked worse then farcry,lol. The timedemo run had popin galore.

Now people can run that game easily, change enough of the config to make it look better and run better.

You and others have gotten used to x this aa x that af and obviously want to keep the rez at your lcd monitor's default, otherwise it'll look blurry and shit.

This isn't really my type of game as i've said, but i still like to see new graphics, art direction. It's interesting. Even the comparison's between consoles is funny, but i still like taking a peek.

From this moment henceforth, Xbox hardware shall simply just exist but have no significant bearing from a business standpoint or from a gamer culture standpoint. It will simply be there for the people that want to have it and that's fine if they're selling it at a high price and actually making money off each sale.

But they should never ever again be Xbox fanboys anymore than they should be Lenovo laptop fanboys it's just a piece of hardware that exists to serve a purpose for niche group of people.

I’ll say this. Cyberpunk had a tumultuous start on console. Even if it had sold like crazy, that whole almost unplayable fiasco and being given no questions asked refunds made a lot of people not look back.
When it comes to PC, people are a lot more forgiving of things like that, especially on Steam, because of the return policy. I really think console manufacturers should implement the exact same refund policy. Was it played under X time? Refund it. It makes people take that risk on games a LOT more than on console. Bought this game and it was broken? Refund it. They said they fixed it 3 months later? Buy it again. It’s fixed but just not fun? Refund it. On console you don’t have that luxury. Was it downloaded? GG. No refund. Lord knows my Steam library is full of “I’ll try it” games that I loved and I’m glad I can take a rush on. On console, specifically PlayStation because I’m not buying Xbox games, I take calculated risk. Known developers. Shinobi, Ninja Gaiden ragebound, stuff like that. Obviously big exclusives and games too. I would have never tried Little Bookstore on PlayStation, but on Steam… why not? Hellish Quart? Why not. Buckshot Roulette? Why not.

this is why console sales matter, folks.
