Yasunori Mitsuda is a talented composer I love the music both from Chrono Trigger, Xenogears. I will always enjoy Nobuo Uematsu as well. I would love to have seen the Chrono Trigger concert live.

Why didn't more developers rip off the tech/combo system? It's so simple and awesome.
I still play both games to this very day. Truly, these games stand the test of time.
F*** Square enix for shutting down the PS2 Remake of Chrono Trigger.
My favorite RPG by Square, period. I've easily put over 1000 hours into this game.
...I miss the glory days, before the insane outfits and incomprehensible plots...
More action/ overhead or side scrolling RPG's needed. Putting a billion into a long CGI cuts does not make a great game. Start with a great original story from the soul, then add some beautiful hand drawn artwork, then cherry on top with some fantastic music and you will have a million plus seller and can do it on a low budget.
EDIT: oh yea gameplay and huge bosses needed.
