Brink is like a Sandwich without bread. You can still eat it, (and it’s good) but nothing really holds it together.

AAA games get all the attention. But some games get lost in the shuffle. Especially shooters! Make time for these five.
I didnt care for brink. I thought it was going to be like overwatch back in the day.

It’s time to Switch to Brink before taking 12 Orbits around Letters from Whitechapel? That sort of works.

Six years later, and the game is available to anyone who wants it on PC.
Brink is good, I wish it was great.
Brink is a joke biggest dissapointment of the year so far. Did they even test this game before they released it. Last time Splash damage gets any money from me.
"Low level cap and small maps hinder lasting replay value."
Don't really see why having more levels adds replay value. Low level cap allows you to get up to speed quickly instead of grinding for a week and getting massacred by older players.
Level caps work in an RPG... not so much in an FPS tailored around teamwork.
The maps also aren't all that small. They're broken into smaller pieces much like BC2's rush mode.
Still, can't argue with wanting more maps, as more is usually always better.
Also, as for the guns, they are in fact different. It took me a while to realize this, but asside from some general difference (magazine size, rate of fire, etc) there also is a difference in accuracy.
Using iron sights doesn't mean your bullet will hit the dot (much like Stalker). So shooting from irons is almost like a more accurate version of firing from the hip, but there is still bullet spread. Thus, the guns do actually behave differently by having different amount of spread.
Other then that, the review is quite well done.
I'm still not sure how long the game will hold me... but for now, I'm enjoying the game the more I play, mainly because the movement mechanics are awesome.
