Capcom's Commando series started out all the way back in 1985, when it was released in the arcade and subsequently made the jump to the home computers of the day. Now, more than 20 years later, the latest game in the series is making its way to the arcade game's modern-day homes, namely Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. The game was on show for the first time at Capcom's London Gamer's Day recently, and Gamespot wasted no time gunning their way to the PlayStation 3 to have a play.

Capcom has knocked down the price of the Resident Evil 5 Untold Stories DLC bundle to $5.99.

The Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 and the 1942: Joint Strike soundtracks have just hit iTunes, with music written by Metal Gear Solid composer Norihiko Hibino and the team at GEM Impact. Each features over thirty minutes of original music that combines retro melodies with intense orchestral action cues which were previously only listenable in-game. OSV takes a look at the Commando 3 soundtrack here to determine if it's worth the money.

Commando 3 will be available to purchase on June 5th. The game, which is an update to the classic Capcom arcade franchise, will cost $9.99, and features HD graphics in 3D, new weapons, characters, abilities, and online coop.
