Operation Flashpoint: Red River - Defend the Area gameplay

You and your squad must defend a location against PLA Attack, in the 'Defense' gametype!

DoomeDx5505d ago

For some reason, this game aint as bad as the critics say it is. its quite good.

ThatCanadianGuy5505d ago

How are the controls compared to Dragon rising? Smoother, more responsive and whatnot? I'm one of the few in my circle of friends who actually loved that game, hell, i even got the platinum on it!

Been very curious about this one tho.I want a gamers perspective on it.

DoomeDx5505d ago

Its great. Has some AI problems though.

But the defend gametype is definatly awesome!
Controls are better. The squad-order menu has been greatly updated!

Some mediocre - crap games there. Couldn't even include any Codemasters racing games? It's the only thing they're good at.

Canadiangamernet4331d ago

Including the Dirt series in the bundle would have been awesome but i wouldn't say they are crappy games. I liked Overlord 1 & 2 and both Operation Flashpoint are decent FPS the other one are so so for me.

guitarded774331d ago

Like I said... crappy to mediocre. I liked Overlord too. Didn't care for Operation Flashpoint. But eve liking Overlord, I have no illusions that it isn't a mediocre game.

AntsPai4331d ago

Even though it's still technically a good deal, the whole $5 or £4 thing annoys me. Humble bundle doesn't do this. No thanks.

Operation Flashpoint: Red River - The Shooter That Could Have Been The Greatest

Mobile & Apps: "One of the most underrated shooters of the previous generation was Operating Flashpoint: Red River for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. With all its problems, I believe this is a game that is worth playing, however, it is not too hard to see why the game didn't quite kick off, as it should have."

I liked it, didn't quite finish it though. Maybe I will now.

Loved this game, it was dumbed down from Dragon Rising but still an enjoyable game. Was still offputting to people looking for instant/non stop action

Theangrybogan4889d ago

Ha! Some colleagues and I are actually planning on hitting this one up tonight. Great game.
