Today, Rock Hippo released the new game mode Zombie Infestation to their popular fast-paced third person shooter, Microvolts.
The Zombie toys have unique abilities such as speed boosts and other abilities which they’re able to use to hunt uninfected toys. However the good news is that the uninfected toys will not be left defenseless. A selection of special Zombie Mode weapons (that will appear in drop boxes randomly in the middle of a match) will help wage war against the undead. Two of these powerful weapons will be ‘Firestorm’ and ‘Blizzard’. These weapons do exactly what their names imply. Players have to make sure though to get to the weapon drop boxes first…
To celebrate the release of the new play mode there will be Zombie themed events coming later this month. These will give players a chance to show off their skills overrunning the uninfected toys, or leading the uninfected toys to victory over the undead hordes.

Will this complete revamping of the game make it rise from the dead?
Rock Hippo Productions has teamed up with Sharknife creator, Corey Lewis, to lift his epic battles out of the comic book pages and into the video game world of MicroVolts Surge! Just in time for Halloween, players can get the new game update now free to download.
