Bitmob | 4 kid-sized killers in video games

When video games let you play as children, there's gonna be blood. These titles prove it.

Tolkoto5497d ago

Too bad none of them have as much personality as that little girl from Kick Ass.

bobrea5497d ago

Too bad listening to Hope bitch about everything for the first few hours of that game was unbearable. I still need to go back and finish at some point but it just.....wasn't that good. An alright game, but I was pretty disappointed. I DID just get a new TV though so I need to see how it looks. OK, I'm off to play some FF13, thanks article.

Hope has god tier magic near the end.

ReservoirDog3165496d ago

Haha, his mom did* die in front of him you know. That's at least a good reason for people to cry for about 15 hours.

MaxXAttaxX5496d ago

He wasn't crying about his mom for 15 hours. He was whining about Snow for 15 hours.

ReservoirDog3165496d ago

Haha, well, that snow killed his mom. Or caused her death. Still, free pass I say.

bobrea5496d ago

I understand that, but listening to him whine for hours on end was still a drag. But I forgot how amazing that game looks, it was a nice showoff for the new TV.

I have four words:

Letters from a Weakling

raWfodog178d ago

I bought an XB360 to play this game. I also played other gems like Blue Dragon, Gears of War, and ES: Oblivion but Lost Odyssey was the precursor and one of the best jRPGs ever.

Redgrave177d ago

How do we resurrect it and get it remastered?

raWfodog177d ago

I would definitely buy that. They remake and remaster a bunch of stuff we don't need/want but they let the really good stuff sit on the shelf collecting dust.

What these games need are remasters and to modern platforms. They're all unfortunately stuck on the 360.

MrBaskerville228d ago

They are available on series x as well. But would be nice to get them out even wider.

babadivad228d ago

You can play them on console. I have them loaded on my machine.

MrNinosan228d ago

Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon and FFXIII Trilogy is actually the only reason I still have my Series X.

Terry_B229d ago

Hey Phil..Why didn't remasters and pc ports happen many years ago already?

ABizzel1228d ago

Because Phil and team seem to enjoy going to websites and forums to see what fans are discussing and wanting, to earn good faith points with post like this while they continue to offer the bare minimum.

Remastered and remake games are lame... A gigantic "we don't know how to evolve original thoughts" from dev teams cashing in on old ip.... Make new stuff or gtfo.

neutralgamer1992227d ago (Edited 227d ago )

no remasters and remakes provide those games to new audiences and improve the look/gameplay

Michiel1989228d ago

you can't revive what never lived

-Foxtrot228d ago

Then…remaster / remake them

🤷🏻‍♂️

After renewed interest you can get Mistwalker to do a sequel to Lost Odyssey

jambola228d ago

Poor Microsoft could never scrape together funds to make that happen

babadivad228d ago

Is Mistwalker still a studio?
