"in that regard blame Shepard as only a human was able to stop them (call it personal revenge like an ex-girlfriend, only not an ex-girlfriend"

What the hell does that even mean? Examiner needs to start hiring some better writers who can, ideally, actually write.

when you quote it exactly like that, then yeah it doesn't make sense. But there was more to that before your quote had started..and I was simply stating that it was sherpard who stopped the reapers, so the reapars are taking it personally with hitting his homeworld first.

"The story for Mass Effect 3 is all about what Shepard was ultimately trying to achieve in Mass Effect 1 and 2: stop the Reaper invasion from happening. Unfortunately in the end, Shepard was only able to prolong what now is obviously a thing of ‘a matter of time’. The Reaper invasion has not been stopped, and now their target is Earth – I’m sure they didn’t target our human homeworld because we have so much water either, in that regard blame Shepard as only a human was able to stop them (call it personal revenge like an ex-girlfriend, only not an ex-girlfriend). Whichever the case, The Reapers have invaded Earth and all hope seems lost. Inevitably the sinking feeling of ultimate defeat sinks in as Shepard makes his escape. However, undoubtedly a hero must stand against evil no matter the cost. And this is where Mass Effect 3 takes root. Shepard must find allies in order to help him prevail against a force so massive and powerful it would seem like David and Goliath in biblical times – only not so biblical, but as epic all the same."

To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

anast451d ago

They lost too much talent.

IAMRealHooman451d ago

He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.
