1C just released another patch for IL-2 Sturmovik, once again to try and fix the multitude of issues their ground-breaking combat sim has suffered since release. This patch aims to increase the use of multi-core PCs to aid in the pre and post processing of terrain calculations. Will it work?

I need to try it. I used to enjoy flight games like the Wing Commander series and the other Origin games as well as Red Baron Online on the Sierra Network but have not played many in recent years. Of course the X-Wing games as well.
Played the hell of out LucasArts Battle of Britain when I was a teen. Wing Commander too. Loved those dogfighting games.
I used to get all of the Origin ones. Strike Commander, the one set in WW2 and the WW1 game.
