DICE executive producer Patrick Bach has revealed in a new interview that Battlefield 3 will be getting a demo before the release of the game, much like the previous title, Battlefield 2.

EA is laying off an unknown number of individuals from across its Battlefield teams, including workers at Criterion, Dice, Ripple Effect, and Motive Studios, IGN understands.
When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!
cue the apologist saying that these are mostly just contractors hired for this specific project bla bla bla

DICE is quickly banning cheaters in the Battlefield 6 beta, with a developer confirming that they are aware of the hacks.
They need to add an option for crossplay with other console players only. Otherwise I’ll definitely deactivating crossplay altogether. These cheaters on PC are already ruining this game and it’s still a few months from general release.
Developers should find a way that if they detect your cheating in a game, have it so none of your shots register against other players, you can't kill anyone. Bascially, you would be useless in that game LOL.

Battlefield 3's former Lead Designer has revealed that there were two cut missions from the main campaign
Get rid of campaigns, move the game to mobile, and try to compete with warzone. They would save time and money.
Very Nice. Means we'll get to see what the game looks like on Consoles hopefully.
We Medal of Honor ppl better get the beta before this demo
Yippee. Ki. Yay.
Good :D
Hopefully it won't be like the Crysis 2 demo lol. I personally am still expecting some consolization or at least a whole load of bugs. Yes I know they said they are taking care with the PC version, but I'm not sure I believe them. I hope that they at least tweak the network settings to actually make use of the better network setups in server farms (high upload speeds etc, ie - not the peer to peer quality settings that most console ports stay with when they are on PC... games like bfbc2 and cod)
Either way, BF3 will still be worth a purchase and thoroughly enjoyed by PC and console gamers alike.
Sah-weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
