I'd rather hear that they're investing money to make sure Mass Effect 2 & 3 are exclusive to their platform. Their userbase is probably the most hardcore, and I can't imagine this being something that they really wanted.

Um, this doesn't say anything specifically about 360. I mean, MS does a lot of PC software and I read somewhere they were working on satellite based photos for some project similar to Google Earth. It's far to early to speculate on where this would appear at this point. They may be incorporating their Virtual Earth project into something bigger.

Everyone steals from everyone in the corporate marketing game. Sony got ripped for copying motion sensor after the Wii announced its controller, now Microsoft is going to try to copy off of Home to maintain the dominant online console gaming community.

It's just the way big business works. Though I must say it is pretty funny how Microsoft doesn't even try to avoid living up to the negative stereotypes against it. It really is like "Hey! That's an awesome product! Let's copy it and make it cheaper by using less reliable parts, but advertise twice as much so people think it's better!".

A home like thing for the xbox 360 WAS NOT IN THE WORKS FOR YEARS they are barely coming up with the idea stop trying to pull things outta your ass to defend microsoft.

Ms comes out with xbox live and it is a huge hit for the xbox line of systems. Sony has to come up with their own online system and calls it the PSN.

Nintendo has their Mii community where your Mii can wander the web of other Wii's connected and they can mingle. Sony has to come up with their own "mingle" based community and calls it Home.

MS doesn't need a Home clone. Nintendo needs more online shopping with downloadable demos but first they need to address the storage issue. Come out with a FW update that allows external drives to be the storage medium.

Sony...well, you need to start coming up with your own ideas. Use the resources you have in front of you. You have movies, music and TV. MS has to buy those services because they dont own any movie studios, recording companies or television studios. The one real media advantage you hold over all other consoles is taking the back seat and you should push that to the front if you want to make this thing a success.

M$ have been doing most of it time pasting innovation ideas from difference varies of company, to name 2 company that people will be familiar with, and that is: Apple and SONY. I wish I could ask why does M$ have absolutely no clue or no actual ideas to make their innovation products like they did with Microsoft Windows which take the market by storm. I just wonder why do they has to copies other company product to make them successful, I mean M$ continuing with this kind of pace that more likely they are to be sue from other BIG company in the future. I can see theirs strategies but they are taking a big risk by capturing more market share for their industry, so when they have enough market share they would start to get more profit back into their company. Although this is a great strategy even we all know that they have more than enough money for the next ten years of risking money lost for their x-box, but if they fail to do it then, they know what the consequences is, and that is stepping out of the gaming market, or declare bankruptcy to the world
