DualShockers writes: Lately the internet has been abuzz with Wii 2 rumors ranging from the systems specs, “Project Café” code name , and its imminent debut announcement at this year’s E3. Heck, even we have our own rumors to speak of. But what are the chances that all these rumors are true? Well coming from a man who analyzes video games and works for a video game research firm for a living, the Wii 2 is happening. Renowned video game analyst and vice-president of EEDAR’s financial division, Jesse Divnich, has told DualShockers what he believes regarding the Wii’s successor and the rumors surrounding it.

The rejection is non-final (and even when such rejections are labeled as “final”, the process is far from over, given that there can be, at minimum, an appeal to the Federal Circuit).
Good, as they should! A game mechanic like that shouldn't be locked behind a patent, and Nintendo didn't invent it either.
Nintendo wants to keep wasting money on bullshit lawsuits, real smart in this economy. They should put that money aside for other game projects. On the other hand, I don't care if they waste it all either, and they are screwed in the future maybe that will teach them a lesson.

Nintendo completed its share repurchase and set its secondary offering price at 8,347 yen ahead of March 16 delivery.

Nintendo filed a lawsuit in the United States Court of International Trade.
Nintendo of America is suing the United States government over the sweeping tariffs President Donald Trump put in place last year, according to a complaint filed Friday in the U.S. Court of International Trade and obtained by Aftermath.
LOL I read this on gaff, will they refund the money back to the gamers? highly unlikely. Didn't they just raise prices and pass it onto the gamers? Only Nintendo would send out the Ninjas to the US government.
Correct.
And they're going to do exactly that - with AMD Trinity/Komodo APUs powering the next console. This means that there will be a HUGE leap over Xbox 360 & PS3 in terms of graphical capabilities (Only very high-end PC's of 2011 are able to match its power). The APU will release in 2012 and is said to be cost effective, so expect Super Wii to cost around $249-299.
Finally, Nintendo is going with cutting-edge technology again! :D
@PLB - Yes and they come from an AMD employee himself according to NeoGAF's detectives... I hope its true!
My hype is 200% ;)
I can't wait for the new gen to start. I'm not a PC gamer, and I want my games looking like BF on the PC that's about to come out. I can't wait.
I just hope they can get their online straight for the new gen. I love Live, and hope they can get their online style up there with that and PSN. Because I'll be hopping on right away for some new gen Mario/Zelda and all the rest.
Re-release the Wii w/ a new marketing campaign and line-up of games for casuals.
Announce a hardcore gaming Nintendo system.
Dominate.
No thanks I've had enough of Wiifit and Wiisports, Nintendo will just use all this extra power to make your Mii's look more metrosexual. They have no idea about making good games anymore
this next wii better be able to upscaled current wii games or have them ready to download and then upscale lol
