There is a pattern to sequels or, more specifically, how sequels have to work for them to have any chance of success. For a change, it isn’t actually the fault of the developers/publishers here, though – they don’t have a choice.
After a good/successful game (or movie or TV series), there is a reasonably good chance of a sequel. Hell, the game doesn’t even need to be that good/successful sometimes, for reasons about which we can only speculate, and still get a sequel. The thing is, if this game is successful, a sequel has to stay true to it’s prequel but also manage to innovate and change as it does so. This, as you might imagine/have noticed, is a difficult thing to do in something that has achieved huge success and a lot of praise from gamers/movie-goers and critics.'

God of War remakes will feature a "new fighting system," says Kratos voice actor Chris Judge, hinting at major changes.
i doubt it will be like the recent titles. the original trilogy had a lot of vertically in the combat. it won't be exactly 1:1 like the old games, but it won't mirror the new over the shoulder style.
I welcome that change, if it is the exact same system, we can just play the original.

A new line of figures has been announced for the popular series.

A circulating Game Awards teaser statue prompted speculation about Diablo and God of War, but key industry figures state it is tied to neither franchise.
It could either be a new IP, or a long dormant IP that we don't know about. A deep piece of lore that nobody has picked up on. If it's a new IP, what the point of doing this teaser? Nobody will figure it out and it's weird marketing. I'll say it's a old IP making a comeback.
The only game I can think of that involves a wolf and a crocodile might be Rampage, but there is no way their rebooting that IP like this
Could it be SAROS ??? Looks like it might be part of that world design. Alien architecture idk
Deeper analysis on it. If an old IP. It's definitely not in the past 10 years. I think it's a game from the past 20+ years. Why? Well nobody so far is able to figure out what this statue is. Which brings me to think it could be niche 20+ plus year old game. Again New IP? I mean viral marketing can happen but this type of. Marketing makes 0 sense so the chance of a new game are very Slim. IMO of course.
Do I think it's a big game. Tbh it's geoff. Though tbh he's gotten allot better at hyping and tempering expections. I think it'll be divided, niche title that some will be crazy excited for it others will be scratching heads or pissed off. Reception, divided.
It’s Legend of Dragoon 2!!!! Yah I know I’m reaching but a man can dream right?
