IGN - It's the most mysterious time of the year. The months leading up to E3 are shrouded in secrecy as companies hold their cards close, waiting for the annual show in L.A. to start to reveal their latest projects.
Nintendo, too, has traditionally been the most secretive of all. And as rumors of a new Wii successor arrive alongside a smattering of official announcements from inside the Big N, we can't help but wonder just what's really going on right now behind those closed doors. What's in the works? What can we expect to see at this year's E3 that, currently, the people working on can't even tell their spouses about?

Another new first-party Nintendo Switch game sale is happening, including Super Mario Odyssey, Donkey Kong, Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, and more.
..It's America again. Articles a waste of time for the rest of the world.

With the ninth mainline installment looming, it feels like the right moment to rank every mainline Resident Evil game from worst to best.
At first I was like, No Code Veronica on the list!? But then I seen Mainline. The list checks out, but I would personally put 2 over 4.
The original RE was the best. Its not on the list which makes no sense.
The remake of it was alright but should be higher on this list.

Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen appear on the Nintendo Switch eShop with a February 27, 2026, release date and $19.99 price tag each.
There are people defending paying 20 bucks individually for 20+ year old games running through emulation. Peak ridiculousness.
I really wish they'd make physical copies for these. I just saw a really cool physical bundle releasing in Japan and I'm jealous.

A big Robot that can crush Sony and Microsoft :D
jk
even if they announce a new system, imma wait 1 year before i buy it. i barely play my wii now as it is, and the only games i look forward to are zelda, and mario.
these are the only 1st party games i actually care about from nintendo, and since they are always slow to release their games ill just wait till both are released before buying their new system.
It's pretty ridiculous. I know the nintendo fanboys always say who gives a crap about the "oh, my wii is collecting dust" statement. But really, my wii IS collecting dust. It's pretty pathetic. Last year we got a few, and when I mean a few I really mean maybe 2 or 3 GOOD Wii games. The rest were simply okay, or shovelware.
Honestly, how can nintendo be satisfied with this? If I buy a $200+ system I expect a vast library with 100's of titles to choose from. Not 20 or 30. Hell, if you look on gamefly you can see that the ps2 has nearly 2,000 games. While the Wii has 300, and most of that is composed of shovelware.
Really, where's the support? Gamers want games. Not trashy shovelware. We don't want just a few good titles a year. We wants TONS of good titles a year. I mean the only Wii title that is even SEMI note worthy that's being released soon is Conduit 2, and that's IT (till Zelda at least). It's pathetic, and anyone who tries to justify this is either a gigantic fanboy, or is clinically insane...0.o
I wanna see a retro take on starfox!
