Those games are only being hyped now because in hindsight people have recognised they were under appreciated masterpieces.

If you love gaming, if you appreciate artistry, if you have a human soul, Ico and SotC are not to be missed.

Had them both from day one and will be getting them in HD too. TLG has been my most wanted since it was announced.

Nurture studios, back riskier, smaller games, support the customers that supported you.

Sony had 2 other consoles generation to learn from and now a third, i don't think MS are going to do that anytime soon.
Literally it's Sony same exact Strategy every Gen.
Pull a new Disc format, High Price, Slow beginning, then hit hard after the first 2-3 years with exclusives and such. Same exact thing they have been doing for years, which is why many have faith in them because it always ends out being good on the consumer side.

I know right? I would say I like Sony as much as the next guy, but after reading these comments I don't think that would be completely accurate. What do you think these same folks would say if someone made the same comments about MS? I have a feeling they probably wouldn't respect his opinion. LOL.I just don't see how anyone could "love" any corporation. I can see how one would like what a corporation gives them, but some of these comments would lead you to believe the would literally fight for Sonys honor. Hey, if they think that's all right who am I to judge, but you wouldn't catch me acting that way. I don't see how anyone could argue they fact Sony is kicking major ass right now. Major props to them, but until I start getting my HUGE checks, they are still just as mortal as any other major corporation out there to me. @ Baby, I do feel it's a little sickening to read some of these comments as well.

No they do have competition... and its made them better at what they do best.

You know looking back now all the stuff that happened in 2006-2008 has made Sony a stronger Company. They are buying studios after a couple ps2 franchises jumped ship.

Learning the while you may have excellent hardware, Devs need something that is easy to pick up day one but hard to master.

An online service that really I think I can safely say really has passed peoples expectations for a free service.

Let's see how Sony takes it up a notch with the NGP and later the PS4.
