Bring a rainbow six and ubisoft will see a huge boost in the markets

Sick of seen just kiddy games

skweejal5537d ago

Amen Brother. I've been dyin for a new rainbow six

morganfell5536d ago

They haven't made a Rainbow Six in a decade. They have made Vegas. They made Lockdown. But that isn't Rainbow Six. Roque Spear and it's add ons were the last of that series.

And with junk like the new Ghost Recon they aren't going to conquer anything except the bargain bin.

Right after GRAW and again after GRAW 2, Redstorm (and Ubisoft) were warned by their military advisors that they should go back to something more tactical, grittier... and they ignored the advice. Now look at their offering in that department.

Army_of_Darkness5536d ago

ubisoft doesn't stand a chance against EA, they practically got all the best franchises and developers, aside from sony's first party.

No far cry 3 meets Cod and Battlefield.

N4Gsukballs5536d ago

RSV2 was a huge fail, tried to be to much like COD. im pretty sure ubisoft is incappable of making a good shooter these days look at far cry 2. And them trying to take on EA & Activision is like 7-11 taking on walmart.

theonlylolking5536d ago

They should use the cryengine 3 with the next rainbow six instead of UE4(I know it is called UE3 but it really is not)

an0nym0us5536d ago

Ubisoft? Ubisoft? Hmm.... oh yeah i remember them....they suck.

They've conquered them in the "shovelware" market, that's for sure.

N4GAddict5536d ago

No other company is better than Ubisoft in that department

skweejal5536d ago

Well to defend ubisoft (for some reason) they have been guided by the intimidation of EA for the past few years. EA loves driving companies into the ground.

ZombieAssassin5537d ago

Well I'd say they're already better in terms of games and quality than Activision. When it comes to EA at least they have some good IP's and actually improve upon them and I'd say have better IP's than Ubisoft although two of my favorite IP's are Prince of Persia and Assassin's Creed.

skweejal5537d ago

Yeah A.C. is pretty legit, I just really wish they would make a prince of persia that was a little higher quality than what they have been making.

koehler835536d ago

I think the issue with PoP is that the team that made it is currently working on AC.

Quagmire5536d ago

I want a sequel to the Cel-Shaded Prince's Story

RememberThe3575536d ago

I loved the Prince of Persia reboot. It was a little too easy, but running around with that Elika chick was awesome. I'd buy a sequel no doubt.

ZombieAssassin5536d ago

I'm with Quagmire and RememberThe357, I'd love for a sequel to the cell shaded PoP game but they'd have to get Nolan North to do the voice again and hopefully improve on the combat maybe make it a little more like AC.

I think AC alone puts them ahead of the others! the AC multiplayer is atleast more interesting than the current crop of crappy arcade FPS games!!

With what Ubisoft?! Delaying games... xD

I can't sit here and act like I know these workers financial situations. And I'm sure nobody wakes up WANTING to go to court. But for the sake of the industry, I wish some of these types of cases made it to trial.

Settlements allow companies to continue to do whatever abusive practices they do. While the trials (should the company lose) would actually force real changes for the better.

But again, I'm not in these workers shoes and I can understand them not wanting to risk it.
