So the sales are so great, they're offering free copies of ME2 if you buy DA2? Sounds kind of fishy, to me. Like, maybe all of that bad-press had an impact? Or the whole, you know, lack of quality overall.

And, naturally, it's a code for the PC version of ME2. The one that's already "as good as free" to begin with.

Tsuru5519d ago

Some people may not have had the time to pick up ME2, like me. But hey, free is free. Ill take a free game anyday.

Baka-akaB5519d ago

why is it so fishy ? Havent you noticed the cost of ME2 on pc lately anyway ?

The game was good...
But to me DA2 lacked that adventurous feel. DA:Origins had it.
Being in 1 city throughout tha game worked in DA2 for me, but m more of a fan of an adventurous feel in games like this.
Now m looking forward to "Skyrim."

Game on!

If the choices won't matter, why bother? Bioware works so hard at giving meaningful choices but rarely if ever carrying out the impact of such choices to the end.

Bro missing companions: Legion, Grunt, Samara/Morinth, Javik, EDI

anast523d ago

Legion, Zaeed, and Jack are my favorites.

RiseNShine523d ago

To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

anast523d ago

They lost too much talent.

IAMRealHooman523d ago

some in andromeda are decent, I agree with peebee and Vetra being good companions. Except Liam he's trash tier

anast523d ago

Liam lol I can't stand that dude.

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave771d ago (Edited 771d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
