dammit im still waiting for a ff7 remake sqeenix will it ever happen please say so . ff6 then i don't care just make something good instead of releasing trash .dam i have fond memories of ff7 played the crap out of it and still have my old save data the timer is frosen at 99:59:59 and still played a whole lot after that never really put that much time into a game since ooooh the memories lol

Let me disagree here,first of all I have play both FFVI & FFVII, FFVI is a gr8 game I would love to see a HD remake but for me it's not better than FFVII and don't dare to say that most FF fans agree that 6 is best because the most ppl who play JRPG today is because sometime in their lives decide to give a try to a game with a falling meteor logo, and that was the triger kaboom! they will never return back after that.

Now I will explain why I believe FFVII is a better game first of all I love the characters more they r more fun (barret/cid/yuffie) every1 have their own tragic story to tell and that unite them&drive them to keep going, the story is amazing u cant even think when u start the game for the first time how all this will unfold, although I love Terra's theme FFVII have much better soundtrack over all, now let's going to gameplay, materia system is hands down for me best thing I have ever see on a JRPG the freedom it give u to make every character w/e u want is simply amazing also the combos u can achieve if u make the right mixes add even more to all that, and lets end this with secret/mini games I dont think that FFVI can compare with FFVII when we r talking about secrets&mini games there is so many thing to find so many amazing mini games (condor fort, bike, snowboard, submarine & other..) all that add gr8 to the replayability of the game, and btw when we r talking about villains is always about Sephiroth the guy was the greatest SOLDIER Hero ever his power was unmatched it was every childs dream to become someday like him when they grow up and all that change in a moment when the strongest person on the planet decide to change sides, I have finish FFVII 24 times between 1997-2002 I love it so much that it's impossible to put another game next to it the only game that I dare to put next to it is Xenogears only that.

yes i have them all bought them on the ps store and have em on my psp man its grea taking them everywhere man just need a bigger memory stick my 16 gigs not cutting it no more haha

I don't think an HD remake of ANY of the games is a very good idea.

This is what's ruining the entire industry, the desire for ever increasing profits. Executives that run these companies are placed in endless pressure to keep increasing their profits or shareholders chew them out, and possibly remove them from the company.

What a terrible way to run a company, the industry, and the world overall.

Brave. I for one denounce how the shareholder-centered economy has completely destroyed the gaming industry, but being angry that you're not able to squeeze even more profit out of a creative industry is one way to go as well. Have fun with yet another failed corporate restructuring.
