Building extensively on the successes of Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, Red River brings wide-ranging advancements including a deeper narrative-led campaign, streamlined inventory and control system, a refined enemy and squad AI system, player class roles including customizable XP upgrades and loadout choice, close-quarters combat, new air support options and comprehensive tutorials.

Green Man Gaming are yet again offering more than just a sale with a breadth of bundles to take your breath away! They released two games bundles featuring Codemasters and Digital Tribes. Also discounted are Thief, Thief : Master Thief Edition, Bioshock Infinite and Murdered Soul Suspect at 75% off.
Some mediocre - crap games there. Couldn't even include any Codemasters racing games? It's the only thing they're good at.
Even though it's still technically a good deal, the whole $5 or £4 thing annoys me. Humble bundle doesn't do this. No thanks.

You can pay what you want for Overlord, its Raising Hell DLC, Operation Flashpoint: Red River, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, and Rise of the Argonauts. Paying $6 or more gets you Overlord II, DiRT Showdown, and DiRT 3.

Mobile & Apps: "One of the most underrated shooters of the previous generation was Operating Flashpoint: Red River for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. With all its problems, I believe this is a game that is worth playing, however, it is not too hard to see why the game didn't quite kick off, as it should have."
Loved this game, it was dumbed down from Dragon Rising but still an enjoyable game. Was still offputting to people looking for instant/non stop action
Ha! Some colleagues and I are actually planning on hitting this one up tonight. Great game.
"...it features a surprising amount of over-the-top profanity that doesn’t seem to fit with the series’ more grounded and “realistic” presentation and combat"
Obviously G4 has not served in the military! I recall just a few years after being in the military my mother commenting that I appeared to curse in everything that I say. I took heart in that and though I tried to curb myself when around my family I found that it was not easy. It's like living in a new place and gaining an accent... military people just curse... ALL the time.
Yes... I know this is a generalization... but it is a true statement. And the funny part is that we don't even acknowledge it ourselves most of the time.
p.s. added note... this game is on my must buy list. Many people don't appreciate the series... but I have loved it from day one when I used to play it on the PC ages ago. It is hard...! A.I. loves one shot kills... but closest thing to getting back to the old RS6 days of gaming. Yes... few minor glitches that can cause grief... but nothing more then what todays games seem to always have. (we might never see a glitch free game again in this generation)
