Insomniac Games steps into the PS3 exclusive ring yet again with its latest FPS effort “Resistance 3". This article has been designed to bring you up to snuff with the latest and greatest of the multiplayer features quick, fast, and in a hurry. So let’s get to it!
Remember those 30 vs. 30 player online matches of Resistance 2, or have you repressed them deep into your subconscious? Well, worry no longer because the frantic Human vs. Chimera battles have been cut into a much smaller 8 vs. 8 format. Apparently this was done to create much tighter gameplay and overall a more enjoyable multiplayer experience. This is merely the beginning of the laundry list of changes that Insomniac Games has made to their beloved game. Perhaps the biggest of those additions is the inclusion of the ever popular EXP leveling system which is such a familiar system in the life of an FPS enthusiast. Basically, it will work like this: Get kills to earn EXP. Get a certain amount of EXP to level up. Leveling up will then earn the player skill points which can be used to create your very own, highly specialized online killing machine.
More after the break...
New reports indicate that Sony Interactive Entertainment and Insomniac Games may still have Marvel's Venom in development.

Sony is said to be pulling back on releasing PlayStation games on PC, and this starts with Ghost of Yotei and Saros.
If true then the PC elitists will no longer be saying..."I'll wait to play it on PC where it'll play best" I'm guessing the money Sony spends porting & profiting from PC isn't worth it. Making PS first party solely exclusive again to their consoles will make their consoles more relevant to buy especially if their output of first party titles are good.
Well, we have the data in front of us, don't we. Not to mention how extensive Sony's data's got to be.
They've tried.
Huge revenue wasn't generated (don't get me wrong - they did make billions, but you get it), Steam got a cut, Xbox got a cut, PS5 is trailing ~2 million units behind PS4.
The paycheck for, but also potential harm to the remaining years of PS5 and the release of PS6, just wasn't it.
It's absolutely logical if true.
And people shouldn't forget Sony'd simply return to the strategy they've been following for 4/5 of Playstation's history.

Matt Miller writes: "We interviewed the general manager of Marvel Games for insight into several of the big projects the team has been working to bring to life, and where the games division is headed next."
Big step up from previous Resistance Games. A must-have Alien Shooter.
Personal Shield – Once activated, this personal shield will protect you from incoming damage. The best part is, bullets can’t come in but they can go out!
anyone else here get the feeling this is a halo reach knock off for ps3?. why would we need buble shiled in R3? ahh whatever the halo fans will buy this. Also 0:39 in the video it shows halo reach tactics for ctf lol well another fps off my list when will the bf3 no dx11 news come? hmm.
im gonna miss 30 v 30
i mean who didnt love running in a crowd of 10 with a pulse cannon : D
but this does look pretty sick!
day one buy for me (:
Looks real good but the main Carbine needs more punch, sounds like a pea shooter and theres no recoil.
i previously commented that the multiplayer looks boring, but I completely take that back. I love how this game is similar to COD/Halo but then again different. All the cool quirky secondary fire like the bullseye tag really make this game stand out. Also, the killstreaks! Invisibility, bubble shield? AWESOME. I'd much rather have this than UAV or Signal Jammer or A random airstrike.
