If you're a fan of button mashers (and just happen to own a Nintendo 3DS), consider Tecmo Koei's Samurai Warriors: Chronicles. This hack and slash adventure plays almost exactly like its predecessors, as you charge through feudal Japan wailing on hundreds of enemy soldiers and taking down key commanders. Although it does little we haven't seen before, the cool special attacks, on-the-fly character swapping and slick looking graphics make it a guilty pleasure, providing you're OK with pressing the X and Y buttons most of the way.

Siliconera: In the west, Epic Mickey: The Power of Illusion is the first third-party Nintendo 3DS title that will be available both at retail and on the Nintendo eShop. In Japan, that honour goes to AKB48+Me and Samurai Warriors: Chronicles 2nd.

Great news for those of you who just got a shiny new 3DSXL and are looking to expand your 3DS library. Several 3DS games have gotten price reductions/clearanced out at Best Buy and for those of you who can get to your local store to search for the titles this evening you can still take advantage of the B2G1 sales on all 3DS games. These games were all marked at a local store, did not appear to be a manager special and required no override at the register when purchasing them. That said, as is often the case for price drops like these, prices may vary depending based on different stores. These prices will likely be IN STORE ONLY.

SBG: "Looking for a good game for yourself or someone else this holiday season? We’ve got you covered. Things slowed down for the DS this year and started off sluggish for the 3DS, but there are still some gems in this year’s lineup."
