NowGamer: BlazBlue producer Toshimichi Mori has cited Microsoft's file size limit as the reason BlazBlue didn't launch as planned...

Arc System Works' CEO has said that BlazBlue is not done and the studio will touch it the in future to avoid competition with Guilty Gear now.
would love to see it celshaded like guiltygear/granblue etc. Just hope they don't ruin the combat mechanics

Online multiplayer is back for 11 more games thanks to Insignia's XBL 1.0 replacement service running on Original Xbox consoles and the Xemu emulator on PC. Multiplayer, voice chat, leaderboards, etc. have been a monthly addition for many games from Xbox's past library thank to the team at Insignia.live! The 11 new games are now playable online once again after 13+ years.
Booo!! I was hoping that was Rainbow Six: Black Arrow...Boo!! again. I thought this coming to Xbox. I don't even read it I was so excited.

"Getting into a long-standing fighting game series is always a challenge for new players. There are so many characters and different versions to go over for many of them and going up against seasoned players who’ve been with the series for years is one of the biggest barriers. BlazBlue, however, has something a lot of other games don’t have; a ton of story. The series is known for having a lot of story content, which can make that initial barrier even harder for new players because if they jump into a new game and play the story mode, they aren’t going to be able to follow it." -- PlayStation Enthusiast
Well that sucks.
"The limitations of downloadable content – for instance Microsoft’s is 2GB – meant we had to abandon a plan to sell the game with only four characters at a relatively small price and then sell the additional characters separately,"
I'm glad there's a 2 GB limit then. The last thing I want to do it pay for an incomplete game and get nickel and dimed up the ass.
This might explain why some games that had expansions on the PC versions didn't get a 360 release or released as a seperate game.
Command & Conquer 3 & C&C: Red Alert 3 comes to mind with the C&C3 Kane's Wrath expansion which was released as a retail game and RA3's Uprising expansion got watered down to a XBLA game with Commanders Challenge.
Lol what?
The 2gb limit is for individual DLC. Are they suggesting each character is over 2gb? The full game fits onto an 8gb disc so that seems to be, uh, lies.
Plus they could just use unlock codes. If they really wanted. I mean they weren't shy of doing so for the other two characters, so why not do so for the whole cast? If that's what they really want.
I'd definitely buy the game for £10-20 then just buy the characters I want. On fighting games most people only play one or two characters anyway.
Well lara croft guardian of light is 2.1GB and its a dlc game! And MVC3 its a full Disc game and haves only 2.9GB of data dump on the 360 HDD.I guess a engine rework is in order.
