I care little for their opinion. They don't deserve the praise on iTunes, I've had their game for my iPhone 4 and thought it was a temporary fix for boredom but eventually becomes the cause of it. There are so many more brilliant iPhone games more deserving of purchasing.

I don't think its any real loss for MS or gamers. I don't see anything that puts angry birds above any other "casual" game. I also don't get why the above agree with the statements when he's essentially knocking console games for not following the growing casual trend...

To tell you the truth,.. 360 does have some great indi games on 360, that I would gladly buy, like Splosion man, Limbo, Shadow Complex,.. I am actually envious they get FEZ,..It will come to pc ,..but still

Well... judging by the over-priced version (with no bonus features for console, btw) that's already on PS3; I don't want this on Xbox. Why would you play this game without a touchscreen??? More importantly, why would you pay $3.99 for it when you can get it for 99 cents?

As much as I think Live is WAY overly restrictive on devs, this Vesterbacka guy has a really warped view of mobile vs. console gaming. He seems to think the former is a legitimate threat, and also sets expectations, for the latter. The two aren't even in the same league.

I think this guy is kind of off base. I don't think they can compare their "app" way of thinking to actual games that cost $60. A $60 game should not require constant updates, you should get $60 worth of stuff that's not broken and buggy, on the disk. There are a few exceptions, like Bethesda games, but they do update their games, without charging, and it's fine, and you get hundreds of hours of playtime from both Fallout & Elder Scrolls.

A $1 app, if they expect to be played in the long run, does require constant updating, because otherwise people would just get another free app and move on.

Truthfully, I am not heartbroken that shitty cell phone games aren't coming to XBL. I'm Team M$ on this one.
