Games come and they go…..but some moments remain.
The vast majority of games have a limited life span, in the worst case scenario that may only be a few hours, before you’ve completed it and put it to the side to gently gather dust among the other vanquished titles. In extremely rare cases a game may give you years of unbridled joy, generally due to an unparralleled multiplayer aspect or numerous story playthroughs. But even after a games demise and subsequent trip to the ‘trade in store in the sky’ or ‘the shelf of the forgotten’ it has the power to make your eyes glaze over and your mouth crack a smile as you wistfully look back on the moments you shared.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."

Another great moment: Medal of Honor Allied Assault. The speech Dwight Eisenhower made before the level, and the actual level... damn, so many good memories.
Not sure if this counts, but the Onimusha 3 intro... pure awesomeness.
The final battle in Pokemon Silver is still fresh in my memory.
