Do games have to be challenging to be fun, or is relaxation and entertainment enough? Kirby’s Epic Yarn provides the answer, say Den of Geek.

VGChartz's Taneli Palola: "As we're in the coldest part of the year right now, I thought it would be fitting to highlight some seasonally appropriate musical themes, even if this winter has been somewhat lacking, at least where I live. I did a very similar spotlight in 2018, but it's not like video games are short on winter-themed tracks, so here's another eight for you to listen to!"

Author Writes: Nintendo has been making cute things for as long as they've been around. Here are the cutest Nintendo games, ranked from kinda cute to disgustingly cute.

In this enhanced version of Kirby's Epic Yarn, Kirby is transported into a world made of cloth and yarn to unravel enemies, unzip secret passageways and transform into powerful vehicles.
YES!
Too many games are just so easy and dont give us enough of a challenge.
it really depends on the type of game as its not so cut and dry. i dont mind a game being easy if the story, characters, and experience have pulled me in and is my prime motivation for playing. case in point, im replaying through the kingdom hearts games on ps2. Currently on kingdom hearts 2 and the games are easy, like really easy, yet i cant stop playing. i wanna visit the different worlds, meet the characters, level up and follow through with story regardless of the challenge.
then you have games that do difficulty right such as demons souls. its one thing to be difficult but there needs to be a balance and that game pulled it off perfectly. it was challenging but you learned from your mistakes and progressed.
yet 99% of the time difficulty and challenge does not matter cause its usually a throw away. turn up the difficulty on almost any tps and fps and it pretty much breaks the mechanics set fourth in the game to begin with. not every game, but most of the time it just changes how many bullets you can take from 5-10 to about 1. yet, in turn, ups the defense of the enemy AI. at that point its really not fun to me and im merely playing just for the sake of saying i played on the hardest setting. a lot of the time there just isn't any point to it.
You set the difficulty to your target audience.
yes! I like when games are normal difficulty, not too easy, but not too hard too :)
I don't like very easy games, but I don't like very hard games either. I have enough challenges at work, so when I'm home and playing I just wanna have some fun.
I'm OK with somewhat Ninja Gaiden Style hardness...
