I really want to know what part of haze is the halo clone.

Everything in the design of the game. The first time that i saw the characters of this game i said: "Wow, Halo for the PS2" because the quality of the images of this game are really crappy.

Im currently playing Warhawk and Gears, i need a new good Fps. Haze looks realy promising, didnt see a big diffrence in the compare shot between Haze and crysis. Even thou i do believe crysis will look better when it´s finished. The Fps ill be getting this year is Cod4 and Haze, Ut3 if it come´s this year, and ill probably pick up Halo3 used or when it drops in price..

As a huge FPS nut and an avid Halo fan, I hope Haze does for PS3 what Halo did for Xbox as far as console FPS games are concerned. I'm not looking for Haze to be a so-called Halo killer, for Halo is a great franchise and has its own legs to stand on. But ever since GoldenEye, Perfect Dark and Halo, I've always compared console FPS to the fun-factor of those games. So I hope Haze takes console FPS games in a new direction, as the three aforementioned games have, in both single and multi-player.

I don't even own a PS3, but there's no point in spreading hate. It's about games, fools. Not who has what and what you think is superior.

They made both Timesplitters and Second Sight, and many of their employees used to work for Rare before Ninty sold it to Microsoft, so they are also behind classics such as Goldeneye and Perfect Dark. Therefore, for a console fps, the PS3 has an almost guaranteed hit.

For HAZ3 and release to Nov. 27.......But, it's all good and a must have.....
And as far as UT3 being delayed til' next year it would still a PS3 buy for most people coz, everyone would prolly want to utilize the power of the PS3 console for a graphics rather than the xbox. My thoughts.

As a ps3 fan i have to admit visually the game is lacking. Dosent hold a candle to resistance and definetly not UT3. The whole nectar gameplay seems very interesting and would be the major selling point because the visuals arent that eye catching.

I'm looking forward to Haze even though I'm not the biggest FPS fan. Free radical have always produced decent games in the past hoping Haze will live up to their previous endevours. With UT being put back it should give Haze a better chance to make it.

Halo clone? Well it has bright yellow in it and guns... And you shoot stuff. OH MAN! THIS GAME IS HALO! /sarcasm. Whatever makes you haters happy. /yawn

With all the hype around the game I hope it delivers. I need a ACE ps3 FPS for when I get a PS3. I just hate the fact that it is being labeled a Halo killer. That is a lot to live up to.

People who call Haze a Halo rip-off are like people who call Gears a Killswitch rip-off. They have no credibility. I love Free Radical and am very much looking forward to this game. Hopefully once it's out they can spend their resources on that new Timesplitters game I've been hearing about.

Hasn't watched the new Haze video on PSN on a deserving TV. It looks AWESOME.

This game looks exactly as horrible as Halo 3. Too bad that i can't say the same about the other things like design, story, etc. Like i said before, expect reviews of 7/10 for Haze.

you cant relate Halo 3 to Haze. Why? because they are very, very different games. now i know people are going to disagree but this is what i feel, Haze is better only because you can do much more than just shoot and melee. now i LOVED halo when it first came out and started to dis like it when 2 came out because there was nothing really new except dual weapons. now Haze has something new and cant be compared to halo because the same thing is being made 3 times with nothing new, now im not hating or anything i just know Haze is going to be the better game just because of more things to do in combat than just shoot, now thats just me but some of you may like staying in the Doom era but there is a thing called change that has to happen and i see it starting here

I noticed in the interview he's always quit careful to say things like "exclusive for PS3 this year," etc. It can be taken both ways, but it makes me wonder if it's true that it may come to 360 late?

Anyone have a deffinitive answer to this, and a link?

I like the idea of the story and the play dead will sooo come in handy when play MP. Finally we have found some developers who actually know what they are doing with the PS3.

im a big fan of free radical, and i'll definatley be getting this game.

You hear a lot of news about PS3 exclusives as of late. Wonder why? Cause 360 doesnt have any worth talking about.

What I'm afraid of is when this comes out, it has the potential to be better than Halo 2.5, but it won't have all the overblown hype and people will bash on it because it's on PS3

It doesnt even deserved to be called Halo 2.5. It didnt even advance itself by 50%.

there is really nothing in this game that i've seen that say i must have have with all the others great shooters coming out. Way better of getting orange box halo 3 cod4. Hell even Blacksite Area 51 looks better.I'll pass on Haze.

Lair has the best soundtrack of a major game flop that I can remember. I still listen to it from time to time on Youtube.

I love the fact that at least someone remembers,
during the PS3 era how many bad games, and studios were shuttered during that era. you get nothing but rose-colored/ perfect hindsight about that now...

Haze broke me. I was such a massive fan of Timesplitters that I didn't believe for one second they could make such a generic, sub-par game. It even had a couple of neat ideas, but nothing that could save it from utter failure.

I learnt a harsh lesson from that game.
