Hate these lists. They're always, and will never be more than the product of a personal opinion (unless there's some voting process behind it, but even that will be influenced by some more than others), and this kind of lists belongs on forums.

yeah to say Bayonetta is a button basher is fairly brainless .You can button bash in fact but that's like saying a Chess master can randomly move each of his pieces- doesn't mean he expects to play well or artfully this way

The fun comes from learning the art of Bayonetta and then applying that for maxinum satisfaction.He likely played it on easy as well and that of course means auto combos where you can literally press just the one button- great for players that are initially daunted by the extra combat layers and want to see what's possible from Bayonetta's moveset

I don't see the purpose of these kinds of lists. Your disappointments AREN'T my disappointments, and when you list stuff people weren't disappointed in, you spark controversy.

For me personally, I rather enjoyed Halo 3: ODST, sure, I got it for free, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't have enjoyed it more if it had been $40 at retail launch.

As for Black Ops, sure, it was overhyped, but come on people, how many FPSs have you played that dealt with brainwashing and COUNTER-Brainwashing? Yeah, very few, if any at all.

Well...that list is crap. ODST, KZ2, and FF13 should not be on that list. Timeshift is really fun but could have been better.

I mostly agree with the list aside from Killzone 2 and Bayonetta. That was a shocker.

Bayonetta has the best combat in the hack and slash genre, but everything else that makes it a game completely sucks. Terrible plot, voice acting, protagonist, recycled boss fights, and that damn Jpop trash playing on repeat. Then there's the endless loading (should have picked up the 360 version but the controller sucks for non shooters) every time you picked up an object or paused the game.

What's shocking about Bayo making the list is the fact that it's not a AAA title and was never expected to be a blockbuster.

K2 was an excellent game. I don't even remember going into a single warehouse, but I do remember battling through Pyrrhus City and that was bad ass.

I'm on the fence with ODST. The actual game was fine, but the price was not. I refuse to pay full price for a game that's half new and half rehash and damn sure wont pay for maps I already own on a completely different game. Any other franchise would be crucified for doing something like that.

What killed ODST for me was what could have been. Imagine running around New Mumbasa in a huge multiplayer slayer match. That would be awesome, but sadly, the game had no competitive multiplayer. Very disappointing.

Okay, this guy apparently thought Madworld and Bayonetta were supposed to be serious business mature games. That alone tells me something is wrong with him. Some of the entries are okay, but no Lair? Red Steel? Other M? I can understand someone thinking Madworld is mediocre, but those were WAAY more disappointing.
