SK-Gaming: "Over the past couple of days, major American video game site IGN (owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation, one of the largest in the world) has made known their intention to become heavily involved in competitive StarCraft 2.
Information has recently come to light to suggest that this will be a new professional StarCraft 2 league in North America, sponsored by IGN and boasting a prize pool between $150,000 and $200,000. This information comes from the mouth of an IGN employee and a credible source who wishes to remain anonymous at this time.
When approached, IGN declined to comment on this information.
UPDATE: Shortly after this post went up, http://www.ign.com/proleagu... was posted. This basically confirms the theory."

Amazing news! Digital Foundry has parted ways with IGN and bought their shareholding in the business. What this means is that from now on, all aspects of DF are decided upon by DF.
Would love to see more DF Retros from John now that they can come up with their own ideas.
I love DF-crew, they are experts at what they do and I'm so happy for this!
I believe in these guys more than anyone else!
I overall don't like podcasts either but these guys make it fun for me at least! :D
This week, Blizzard Entertainment dropped both 'StarCraft: Remastered' and 'StarCraft II Campaign Collection' into PC Game Pass.
Hopefully these get released on Switch and Playstation, along with Age of Empires. There’s a severe lack of good RTS games on both those platforms.
Im sure they will have xbox 360 picture in the employees wallets so they don't forget their main focus..
i don't like ign much..
