Then when/if they make a sequel, they'll say it again like Uncharted 2. I'm no tech wiz, but I'm sure there's no percentage bar in the corner of the screen when they're making games. I can't imagine how much U3 is gonna improve on the P E R F E C T U2!!!!!!!! Name a big flaw from U2. Go ahead, try.

i think games today , the very good ones not only gives fun but most importantly is the experience. so its not like have you played last guardian but have you experienced last guardian or have you experienced the game ( lets say uncharted) now thats more powerful.

The Art in this game will blow anything from the 360 out of the water.

How many times have we heard the PS3 is maxed out...just to see better looking exclusive games releasing soon after.

i don't care about this game but yesterday i dream about it XD , im not joking , im not intersting about it yet , i only saw one video or screen shots { i don't remember } and i only saw a kid and a dog , i need to see more , but it's ps3 exclusive so im sure it's going to be great , te graphics looks great...

Actually, I think it's fair to say that the PS3 is and has been maxed out for quite some time. It's got an extremely outdated gpu which isn't really capable of more than we're seeing now. What isn't at its limit though is the level of optimization achievable by a given developer. So while the PS3 is technically "maxed out" it hasn't been fully optimized so visuals will continue to improve as methods of optimization do the same.

I laugh when I read stuff like this... "at it´s limit". That´s been said so many times... on games for the PS3 ... rofl

Why does the little boy look completely washed out? The beast is the only amazing thing in the game and probably the animations, everything else looks good at best.

But to tell you the truth I really want to buy this game.

I'm very excite for this game,big fan of Shadow of the Colossus,but I'm sick and tire of always reading how every PS3 exclusive is pushing the system to it's edge.

PS3 it only does unlimited limitless.

It is the max for now, till the game has been out and they start working on another title....ND said it with both Uncharted titles, GG said it with KZ and so on. They learn better ways to do things and figure out how to get more power out of it.

Fact is while they are great developers they have made how many games for PS3? So theres no way they figured out the best possible way to use their engine....

Cant ever say its at its limit. Just because these guys make a very detailed game, does not mean other developers couldn't make something more graphically pleasing or make half and half and meet in the middle.

Its all about the brain power, not the machine power because ps3 has it all. Space and power.

i wish devs would stop these sort of claims. all it does is breed contempt when on release the game is clearly not up to scratch with current or earlier games.

last gaurdian does look beautiful from what i have seen though. it seems devs just use bragging about graphic performance as a selling point, which only fans the flames of these stupid arguements you see here all the time on n4g.

There's a bigger picture here. Stop trying to figure out developers and start enjoying these games.

Come on, look at that game. Tell me you don't want to play it. I don't care what system you own! You have to admit that this game looks enjoyable. A fun game is a game I'll play, period!

Another diverse PS3 exclusive, they just keep coming and really now showing how to handle a console and a wide catalogue of games on the console market.

Making the Wii and 360 look bland and generic, I mean who wants to play a constant stream of space marine shooters!

Lol... this game took about 9 years to release. It actually took a whole generation. Better late than never i guess.

like others in the comments, this is one of those rare games that stuck with me. The originality, the sound track, the bonding with the animal (especially if you've ever owned a pet before)

Under current Sony leadership, it wouldn’t have even been greenlit.

ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last Guardian, will always have a special place in my heart! Wish there will be more games like that.

It should have been. Its a great concept but controlling that creature was a hassle and took away from the enjoyment of the story. So much focus on getting it to do what you need it to do. Couldn't even finish it unfortunately and I bought the digital and collectors editions.

Both of those Infamous games are definitely fun, just too short.

In 10 years, you'll probably call God of War Ragnarok underrated because it wasn't discussed 24/7.
